I wake up early, as usual,  alone in my quarter. Today being Wednesday means that by 6am we have to be in the tanker for our weekly workout ( more like weekly torture) that lasts a hefty 4 hours with no break.
It's 4am right now and I take my time getting out of bed, I take a hot shower and change into my workout gear, Which consists of a black overall and sneakers. It's much easier to wear an overall than a top and sweats when you are doing all kinds of vigorous activities.

I put my hair into a tight ponytail and take my room keys, phone and earphones before I head out. The hallway is still dead asleep with the exception of twani who has severe insomnia and her sister who tries her best to keep her company but usually passes out on the hallway floor. Sights like these make me wish my sister was still here, but it's an impossible want. She's dead I remind myself and I have to learn to live with that however hard it may be.

I reach the grounds where I usually take a 10 minute run before I head to the mess to stuff myself with food. The run is refreshing and makes me forget about my family and the world outside the agency. The mess is pretty empty when I enter and this is how I like it. I begin to fill my plate with the chocolate croissants and flavored yogurt mainly because I'll need all the energy I can get to prep me for the four hour workout. I ignore the protein shake that is put for every agent with their name on the bottle and take my seat near the large top to floor window that overlooks the surrounding forest. I enjoy the peace that comes with the view, things you don't really get to experience when the mess is filled with hormonal teenagers.

I'm not surprised when I hear the chair beside me get filled. I look over to see my best friend Aiden Tresspite smirking in my direction, " did I disturb your peace, your highness" I just roll my eyes and put the last bite of my croissant in my mouth and head back to the table to get my self seconds with Aiden.
