"Hey Sasuke-kun!" Dark eyes looked up from his lunch to see a familiar pink haired classmate come up to him with a large radiant smile on her face.
"..."
"You could say it back, you know." Naruto, who had been downing a cup of instant noodles quickly perked up at hearing the girl's voice.
"Sakura-chan!! Hello!! And Sasuke says Hi." Sakura smiles slightly, her eye twitching.
"Right. Hey, Naruto... So, Sasuke-kun! I was wondering if you were going to the dance with anyone?" Sakura asked while blushing slightly and playing with her long hair. Sasuke sighed, eating a bit of his lunch. He swallowed, before turning his dark narrow eyes up at the girl who froze under the gaze.
"Look, up until a second ago I didn't know your name. I honestly don't even remember it now. You should go with someone who actually likes you." Sakura, poor girl with her high school love fantasy, teared up before nodding.
"A-Alright. Thank you for your response. But can I ask one question?" Sasuke groaned before nodding. Anything to make her leave.
"Is there anyone you're taking?" Sasuke, eyes brighter than before, looked at Naruto who simply looked back with a curious look.
"No." Sakura nodded, satisfied with the answer, and with her head held high, left the two's not-so-secret lunch spot.
"You're so mean. She's the prettiest girl in school and you totally rejected her!" Sasuke smirked before bringing Naruto's face closer, forehead touching forehead.
"Why spend time with her when I can have fun with you." Naruto laughed before pulling away and punching him in the shoulder.
"Yeah right, asshole. Stop trying to use me as an excuse. You just don't want a girlfriend because you want to go against you-know-who's wishes." Sasuke chuckled lowly before placing his finished food tray aside and leaning against the other male.
"So? What happened?" A blue eyed girl asked her best friend with a curious look.
"He keeps said saying he isn't dating anyone but..." she looks back from the window of her class.
"Your existence is so confusing." Sasuke mumbles out before Naruto glared down at his friend who had his eyes closed, not worrying about the expression on the blond's face.
"How so?"
"Your presence is annoying but the thought of anything happening to you makes me upset." Naruto, shocked at first, laughs loudly, making everyone's head in the classroom turn towards the open window.
"...but they act like they're totally dating!!!" Kiba screams before banging his head into the table.
"Hm, this didn't work out like I expected. I thought you two could at least get him to say that he was going with Naruto." Shikamaru muttered out as he leaned his cheek on his hand.
"See. I told you I should have gone! I'm much more sexy and could have used my amazing body to force him to say they were dating." Ino exclaims.
"If he's gay, he wouldn't fall for your "sexy" and "amazing" body. I always thought you were a pig but now I know you have the brain of one too!" Sakura laughed out making Ino puff her cheeks.
"Oh shut it! Weren't you three childhood friends or something? Looks like he didn't even recognize you!" Sakura blushes immensely before sitting in her desk.
"Even back then, Sasuke-kun and Naruto were always stuck together. I was just following Sasuke-kun around while Naruto followed me..." Shikamaru hummed lowly, his brain trying to process the information but he was too dang sleepy.
"... I never understood how they ended up like this." Kiba sighed before turning to Shikamaru.
"Looks like that plan failed. What do we do now?"
"Hmm... this might get awkward... but we might need some help from a few of our upperclassmen..." Kiba groaned. This was so embarrassing.
