"Oh, boy, group hug." Howard said as he, Liz and Raj turned the corner. Penny was hugging Leonard. She ushered him off. (Sitcom chuckles). Howard backed up. "So, what's up?"

"Well, uh, Penny is on her way to perform in a one night showcase production of Rent, which we are unable to attend because we are going to a Symposium on Molecular Positronium, given by Dr Emile Farminfarmian." Sheldon stated.

"Wait a minute, Farminfarmian is speaking and you're bogarting the symposium?" Howard exclaimed.

Sitcom laughter

"Howard, I'm sorry.. we're-we're--" Leonard stuttered.

"No, no, you're quark-blocking us!" Howard held up his hands in defence.

Sitcom laughter

"Dranie!" Liz cried. (Translation: "Bastards!")

Sitcom laughter

Leonard fiddled his fingers, hip twitching awkwardly. "I don't know what to say." He directed it at Sheldon.

Sitcom laugh

"Wow." Howard, Raj and Liz were peeved.

"Howard, listen--"

"No, it's okay, it's your Millennium Falcon, you and Chewbacca do whatever you want to do in it." (Sitcom laughter). "Me, Yoda and Princess Leia here will find some other way to spend the evening." He pointed over his shoulder at Liz when he said 'Yoda' and at Raj when he said the other character. Raj raised his hands into a shrug in confusion.

Sitcom laughter

Penny turned. "Howard, wait." She approached Cooper. "Sheldon, I think we should tell them."

The gangly man seemed reluctant. "Okay, sure. I don't see a problem with that."

"There's no symposium." Penny admitted. "Leonard lied to me, isn't that right, Leonard?"

"W..." he croaked, I don't know what to say!"

Sitcom laughter

"It's okay, I do." Penny reassured. "Look, Leonard is helping Sheldon through a family crisis, he made up the whole story about the symposium with Dr Farmin-farm..ian" She attempted the name.

"Good for you." Sheldon praised.

"Ha! Yeah." She smiled victoriously. (Sitcom laughter). "Because he didn't want Sheldon to be embarrassed, and there is nothing to be embarrassed - okay - every family in America has a relative holed up in a garage somewhere huffing paint thinner."
