THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL was boring for everyone but Todd Anderson. Being the brother of one of Welton's greatest student didn't help to pressure he felt on being "that" Anderson, as many students labeled him.His first class was Biology, so he got ready as fast as he could to be there earlier with Neil, his roommate. Neil was nice, his friends were too, but he was the definitely the nicest out of all of them.
"Hey buddy, take this, if not you'll probably starve by the second period, trust me" Neil stated handing him a peanut bar with a big smile.
"Thanks" He simply said. For Todd it was difficult to open up to people, since he was extremely shy, and as much as his parents tried to help him to be more extrovert getting him into different extracurricular activities during his time at his old school, nothing to worked. His reason, however, was that he didn't want to say something stupid that could make people make fun of him.
"So... excited for your first day at Helton?" He mentioned while taking his books.
"Do I look that scared?" He replied opening the bar he had just gave him.
"You don't have to worry about that, sure, it'll be hard, but that's just school, don't be afraid of this boring school, seriously man, everything will be alright" he assured him"Now c'mon, we'll meet with the boys in English class, apparently we're the only seniors in a different classroom for biology and chemistry, by the way, there'll probably be a bunch of sophomores and juniors" he added.
"Well, let's get going" Todd finished his bar and took his books, ready to go.
Neil took his stuff as well and then the boys exited their room. In the hallway they were approached by Knox, Meeks, Charlie and two boys he hadn't meet.
"Todd, meet Pitts and Cameron" Meeks commented while a tall brunette boy and a freckled red-head were standing in front of him.
"Nice to meet you guys, I'm Todd Anderson" he said politely while stretching hands with them.
"Nice to meet you too, your brother helped me during freshman year with chemistry, I owe him that year" Pitts said smiling "Hope his doing great man" Todd simply nodded, what else could he do? Say 'You're welcome'?
"Great..." Charlie saved the day, changing the subject "Can't wait to see the senior girls, let's go boys" The brunette encouraged with a smirk on his lips.
"Same, school won't be that boring anymore, thanks god" Cameron stated.
"Well, Todd and I better get going, see ya in English" Neil added leaving with his roommate as fast as he could.
Charlie, on the other, was eager to see the senior girls for a very peculiar reason, she.
He saw her at the assembly yesterday, but he couldn't talk to her, he couldn't come up with anything.
lots of question were running around in his head. Does she hates me? Should I talk to her? What if she doesn't want to see me? Should I Ignore her? were some of them.
The fact that since that summer they have never had a talk about it concerned him now that he had her so close. He liked her a lot during that time, and he understood her concerns, but if he asked her out, would she go?
Truth is, he wanted her so badly, he thought he could forget about that easily, but when he saw her there, there was no one else around him in that moment, his only wish was to kiss her just one last time and tell how much she means to him, he needed to let it all out.
"Oh god! I'm gonna be late!" the blonde took her coat while her friend closed the door behind her.
"You have biology at the A24, I'm in the A21, run!" Alexandra said while going the opposite way.
