"It's not going to happen, Mitch. We just have to think positive." Scott says.

"But what if it does!? What if that crazy bitch gets out of prison and somehow tracks us down and finishes what she started?" I yell.

Scott sighs and keeps his eyes locked on the road.

I keep playing through all these different and horrible scenarios in my head.

I just hope and pray Esther has good news for us soon.

Before I knew it Scott pulled into my driveway and shut off the car.

"Mitch, I understand that you're worried about all of this, but dwelling too much on it isn't good for you either." He says.

"I know." I say softly.

"Come on now. Put on a happy face before you walk in and greet your boyfriend." Scott says with a smile.

I smile back and wipe the tears from my face.

We both get out of the car and walk into my house and are immediately greeted by Scott's sons Justin and Austin.

"We missed you daddy!" Justin says jumping on him.

Beau comes down the hallway and greets us as well.

"Did you guys have fun today catching up?" Beau asks.

"Yes. It was nice getting to hangout and talk with Mitch and our old friend Esther again." Scott says.

"Agreed. It's been way too long." I say.

Scott gets the boys stuff all packed up and put in his car to go home.

"Ok, boys! Say goodbye to Uncle Mitchie and his friend Beau." Scott tells the boys.

They each gave us a hug as did Scott and they were on their way home.

I still couldn't help but think about the Kirstie situation.

Now it's a waiting game for Esthers phone call.

**

I was at the kitchen counter scrolling through emails on my laptop, when Beau comes rushing into the room.

"Don't lie to me!" He says.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"Your past. What did you do in your past? Why can't you talk about it?"

"I told you I just don't like talking about it. My past was a rough time that I don't like to dwell on."

"Oh yeah? Then what is this box!?"

Beau yells and throws the medium size box from my office on the counter next to me.

I just look at it and have no words.

"Well!? Are you going to say anything?" Beau says.

"This isn't how I wanted you to find out about what I used to be." I say looking at the box.

"You used to be a monster! These are all kills you had done! You're a killer!"

"I never killed anyone! I used to be part of a mob like sort of life and I used to call hits on people and I used to call assassins to kill those people." I explains.

"Get out."

"What do you mean?" I say.

"Get out! Being a liar is one thing, but you used to have people killed for no reason...I don't feel safe around you anymore...please leave." Beau says.

All I could do was nod my head.

I packed up a couple of things got in my car and left.

I don't know where I'm going to go, but I hope Esther has good news.
