A lot when on in such a short time today with Esther and I can't help but to keep thinking about it.

After I put my boys to bed at 8 o'clock, I've just been up trying to distract my mind with something other than Kirstie.

There's a lot of history there that wouldn't be there if Mitch didn't put her up to this.

I, in no way, blame Mitch for this still.

He called her off long before everything happened.

I'm just worried about my kids and their well being now.

I can't keep running.

All of a sudden there was a knock at my door.

"Who the hell?" I say to myself walking to my front door.

I opened the door to yes a puffy eyed Mitch standing there with a duffle bag of clothes in hand.

"Hey, Scott. I hate to do this, but can I stay here...for a while??" Mitch asks.

I nod my head and move to the side so Mitch can come in and set his bags down.

"What happened?" I asked.

Mitch sighs and sits down on my couch.

"Beau found out about what I used to do...ya know, crime boss era." He says waving his hand around.

I grab him a bottle of water out of the fridge and walk back towards my couch to sit with Mitch.

"How did that happen? You leave your evil lair open?" I joke trying to make Mitch laugh.

"Haha, No! Beau was looking through my things in my office at the house and found an old box of hits I made years ago and totally freaked and kicked me out." Mitch explains.

"You still have those laying around?" I ask.

"Well, they were in a small box hidden, but Beau knows exactly where to look without trying." He says.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Mitch. You can stay for as long as you need. I have a spare bedroom right next to my room." I say.

As I get up to walk Mitch up the stairs to show him his room, my phone begins to ring.

"Popular tonight, huh?" Mitch jokes.

Yeah, a little too popular for midnight.

Mitch hands me my phone from the coffee table and his eyes widen.

It's Esther.
