After checking into their hotel rooms and changing, Fluke and Ohm met up in the lobby to head out on their coffee date. Date. Fluke didn't know if he should label it that, if that's what this was or if it's even what he wanted. Did he want to go out with Ohm? Yes. Did he want to get to know him better? Yes? Did he want to run his hands and mouth all over that body? Hell yes. But labeling something a "date" usually implied a bit more. Like feelings and hopeful relationships. Fluke was not there.
"You okay?"
Fluke was pulled from his thoughts to look up and Ohm. They were walking to a nearby coffee shop they'd found online and he had been lost in thought for a couple blocks. He smiled up at the man. "I'm fine. Think I can really use that caffeine," he chuckled and enjoyed the smile he got in return.
Of course Ohm is the kind of guy to open the door for you and wait for you to be ready to order before placing his own. They sat at a small table and smiled at each other. Fluke felt a bit awkward. Not really with Ohm but the situation, he wasn't used to this kind of setting with a guy. He normally picked up guys at bars or clubs or other loud and distracting places. Not a quiet coffee shop where you can actually hear your own thoughts.
But Ohm seemed at ease and his smile soft and Fluke couldn't help but relax a bit.
"So, how are you liking it at MyBlue Airways?" Ohm decided to speak up first.
Fluke laughed and shook his head. "Really, P'Ohm? We just left work, this isn't some secret performance review is it?"
Ohm's eyes widened and he actually looked a little panicked which Only made Fluke laugh more. "What? No, I just-"
Fluke took mercy on him and patted his hand teasingly. "I'm just kidding, P'Ohm." Just then their drinks were brought to them and Fluke grinned as Ohm quickly took a few sips, as if to hide from Fluke's playful eyes. "I like it." Ohm's brow furrowed and Fluke couldn't help but think this big bear of a man was rather adorable. "MyBlue. It's been a much better airline to work for than the ones I have in the past. And everyone I work with is really nice and friendly." He pauses a second, smirking as he very noticeably scans Ohm's body with appreciative eyes. "And hot."
Not only was it fun to flirt, but Fluke had decided he was going to make it clear to Ohm what he wanted. Or at least, that he didn't want just friendship. And he thinks the guy is getting the message. He really liked seeing the calm man blush.
"Yeah, well you fit right in." He was clearly a bit shy, but smiling anyway.
Fluke's brow quirked, he enjoyed it when a guy played along. "Oh I don't know, P'Ohm. I'm not all that nice or... friendly." He gave the smallest pout, eyes dropping to follow his fingertip as it drifted along the table. "Or maybe I'm too friendly." His finger found Ohm's hand as it rested on the tabletop and let his finger trail up his index finger.
"You're too good at this." Ohm's voice sounded a little airy.
Fluke wondered if Ohm found that to be a bad thing, but when he looked up he only saw amusement. Grinning, he gave him a wink. "You haven't seen anything yet."
"Oh I think I've seen plenty." Fluke wasn't sure what he meant by that and was about to ask when the hand he'd been teasing flipped and swiftly engulfed his own. He looked down and... his hands are so damn big! Should hands even be allowed to make your mouth water? Ohm's low voice pulled him back. "I've seen you work your charms, N'Fluke. And I'll say I enjoy them up close far more."
Ohm then lifted his brows several times before breaking into laughter, Fluke following him.
