Breakfast was great! Penelope hadn't threatened Cas and the pancakes were delicious! Sam was a very talented cook.
Penelope had left about an hour ago and in that hour, Sam and Cas had cleaned up the kitchen and dining room and had gotten ready to go out and meet his brother and his hybrid.
Cas went downstairs and met Sam at the door and the two left.
Cas stared out the window as Sam drove, admiring the view. He jumped when he felt a hand on his head, but relaxed when Sam started petting his ear. He didn't want to say anything, but he really liked it when Sam did that.
The car was silent as Sam drove and soon, he was parking the car next to another black one. Sam turned to Cas as he took off his seatbelt. "If Dean says anything stupid, I'm sorry. It's just how he is." He said softly.
Cas smiled a little, immediately thinking about his own brother, Gabriel. He nodded. "It's okay." He said softly.
With that, they both got out of the car and headed into the park. Cas looked around, watching some of the animals and other people as they walked. He looked straight ahead when Sam called out to his brother. When Dean looked over and so did the hybrid, Cas froze in his spot.
Sam kept walking, not noticing Cas until he got closer to Dean and he pointed it out. He looked over at Cas and frowned. He opened his mouth to call to him, but another voice beat him to it.
"Cassie..?" Dean's hybrid asked as he started to stand. Dean was surprised by this because this was the first time Gabriel had ever been this soft spoken.
Gabriel stood and took off running to Castiel, who was now standing in place and crying. Gabe threw himself against Cas, hugging him tight and beginning to cry with him.
Sam and Dean looked at each other, then back at the hybrids. Did they just miss something?
