Me and Captain Sylvester arrive at our base camp in my community.  He already sent the letters and waiver to my family and they are unwillingly sign the waiver but gives up because I'll do what's best for our country and mankind. 

But the trip was quite solemn.  Maybe over thinking the possibilities.

I pack some of my necessities, clothes,  some craft things so when I have free time I don't go bored easily,  maybe knitting would be nice.  Once I'm finished packing my things that comes with 2 duffel bag and one large backpack I go to the kitchen to cook.  To feed my rambling good bacteria in my stomach.

Chopping some onions,  mincing the garlic and saute them and add some seasonings.  Adding the meat and potatoes,  and voila,  the dish is set to be ready.  Simmering for 5 good minutes then it is ready to serve.  I was about to set the table when it was already set by him. That captain has a big appetite,  I should have remember it.

"I'll call everyone to-, "

" I already called them,  they will be here in 5 seconds, " oh,  precise as always.  When the other two enter the dining area,  they immediately take their seats and we silently pray and digging in our meal.

"Hey Cinth,  have you heard the news? " asked Mandy.  I loot at her and have a questioning gaze and it means 'specific news'.

"Oh,  the terrorist attacks by midnight and loots some people's resources,  not just here in the Philippines but to other nations as well.  But the ground military and some district manage to track them and seize them.  Oh boy,  this virus is getting the way to my graduation, " Mandy exclaimed.  Yes Mandy is a senior doctor,  a military doctor.  She just accelerates.  She's two years older than me.

"You still think the graduation Dy?  You should have think about the thesis, " Archie blurted.  Here we go again, the thesis subject.  That leech always stolen what's mine.

"Oh right,  Shiela always steals someone's work specially Hyacinth's and claim as if it is her's.  No shame to her.  Even the title as the 'Head Doctor' she doesn't deserve it-" I cut Mandy.  I don't want to hear Shiela's name or maybe I'll snap again.

"Por favor,  enough, " I just immediately finish my meal and went to the nearby lake to cool down my steaming head.  Remembering what she did wants me to strangle her to death but oh well,  let the karma serve what she deserves.

The moon glows beautifully just above the horizon of the lake.  Decorated with stars.  Just peaceful.

"You still have the that temper,  don't you?  If it happens to me,  I bet I'll do something bad but for greater good,  let it be.  They'll embarrass their selves, " Captain spoke. He just stare at the moon, as if wanting to melt it. Who knows what the captain's mind running to.

"I can't stop myself remembering it. Maybe thinking of happy thoughts might ease my mind for awhile, "

"Let's just play chess, "

Today is the day that we'll fly to China.  But of course we can either pilot the plane or leisurely relax ourselves  but the captain won't allow us specifically me to pilot a plane. It would be a fast and furious ride.  So in the end,  I just leisurely take a seat next to the window and daydream. I felt a human being sit next to me but I didn't bother to look at.  Just his perfume,  I know who is this creature.

"I know you badly want to maneuver this plane but I won't allow you to because you have to save a ton of energy when we arrive there.  Simultaneous work will greet us there.  Just take a nap and I'll wake you up when we arrive, " he said and slowly he motion his broad shoulder so I could lean on.

Well better save some energy rather than overthinking.
