Roman began to run. He didn't stop when Logan gave him a questioning look, nor did he when Virgil asked him where the fire was. He just kept running till he had locked himself in his room.

He was right. Of course he was. Roman just hadn't wanted to see it. He stood and made his way to the mirror. Well there was no denying it now.

He was exactly like him.

He stared at himself in the mirror and let the tears roll down his face. He was awful. Why did he have to laugh at his name? Hadn't he learned not to lash out? Apparently not. He really was the worst, he should just-

"Roman?"

A soft knock came from the other side of the door. "Ro, can I come in?" It was Virgil. Of course it was. He didn't want his boyfriend to see him like this. "N-not at the moment storm-cloud! I'll be out in a bit!" There was a moment of silence and Roman could almost hope Virgil had believed him. "Babe are you crying?" The emo asked gently. The prince let out a sigh and unlocked his door, leaving it open only a crack. Virgil gave him a soft and concerned smile. "Heya princey" he said quietly. Roman fully opened the door and let him in, shutting it once he entered. The creative trait shuffled over to the bed and was soon followed by Virgil, who laid a hand on his shoulder. "Do you want to talk about it?" More tears welled in Romans eyes. "Janus told Thomas his name. He's Thomas's hero now." He said, bitterness in his tone. Virgil was silent for a moment. "He told him his name?" Roman nodded, letting his tears fall. Virgil sighed and moved his arms around the prince, rubbing at his back. "What do you mean he's Thomas's hero?" Roman began to recount the entire story to the darker boy, who sat there holding him. Virgil once again let out a sigh. "Well then he's a fool." Roman gave him a tear-filled and questioning look. "He's a fool if he doesn't see your worth." Roman didn't respond. He just frowned and looked away from the emo. But his boyfriend was having none of that. "No you listen to me, Roman. You are incredible, okay? If it weren't for you, Thomas would not be anywhere near where he is today, and-let's just say I would be far worse off as well." "But I-I hurt people. I hurt you." "That was a while ago. And you learned from your mistakes and you apologized. Your brother has never once said sorry. Trust me, you're nothing like him." The prince wiped at his eyes and uttered a small thank you. There was silence for a moment before Virgil spoke again.

"And Roman?"
"Yeah?"
"You're my hero."

Roman smiled.

I feel like the ending could have been a bit better, and I know it was short, but the newest episode broke my heart a little, so I felt compelled to do a "fix it".
