Twelve

Majestic footsteps echoed through the almost empty city. It was at the crack of dawn when the busty blonde woman, her apprentice and the two males that got her to come, entered the village hidden in the Leaves. A yawn escaped her red lips as she stretched herself a little. "Where to?" She mumbled and Jiraiya smirked. "Well we could go to a bar and drink---" The woman immediately bumped her fist on his head and sighed.

"I drank so much with you last night and I want to get this over as fast as I can." She said and the man nodded. "I always stay at Yukiko's when I am here. We can visit her and figure the rest out when it is a little later than four in the morning." The man said the rest agreed. "Shizune. Book a hotel somewhere or something. You are done for today. Naruto. Take care of that necklace and go to bed you look tired." The blonde boy just nodded and yawned before saying goodbye and leaving for his home.

The two sannin made their way over to their old friend's apartment and opened the door with the key he always carried with himself. "Come inside. Let's see if she is here" Stepping inside they were met with a tidy and organized room. "When did she learn to order her things?" Tsunade asked and looked at the pictures on her wall. "Oh look... It is us four..." She whispered and gazed at the framed picture on the white wall.

Jiraiya and Tsunade were standing normally next to each other while Yukiko had her arms wrapped around Orochimaru's arm and leaned onto him. "Oh... How old were we there? Around 14? It makes me feel old" Jiraiya said and sweat dropped. "I don't think Yukiko is home. Maybe she is at her mother's home or on a mission." He explained and Tsunade nodded.

"I think... I need some sleep. I already feel my body getting tired from keeping up with you and Naruto all night..." She mumbled and sat down on the couch to lay down right after that. "You can sleep in my bed if you want." Jiraiya said and Tsunade shook her head. "No no it is okay. I don't want to sleep in your filthy paradise" She said and closed her eyes while smiling proudly.

Jiraiya left to his room and went to sleep himself so they could finally get some well deserved rest.

"TSUNADE!" A yell and a weight on her body woke her up. "Oh Kami I missed you so much, Tsuna!" Yukiko said with some tears in her eyes. "That is the best surprise I have ever had!" The female smiled and Tsunade sat up to hug Yukiko tightly. "It is so nice to see you too... And you still look the same." The woman laughed and nodded. "You too. We are keeping ourselves fresh and nice, huh?"

"What is happening? Ah Yukiko! You are back!" Jiraiya said and sat down on the couch as well. "I want to join the cuddle!" He said and tried to wrap his arms around them before Yukiko and Tsunade both grabbed his arms and twisted them. "Don't touch. This is a girls moment" Yukiko said and hugged Tsunade again. "You probably heard of everything that happened? With Orochimaru and Hiruzen..." The black haired suddenly said in a depressed voice.

"Yes... I did. It must have been terrible to witness all that... But that is why I am here. I will take over the position of the fifth Hokage" Yukiko looks up at her in disbelief. "Wait... Really?!" Tsunade confirmed it and the other woman hugged her again. "Wow! I am so happy for you! Like really! A Senju is the new Hokage and finally a woman!" She said happily and the others nodded at her.

"I think so too. It is time to have women at the top. I am also excited to see (Y/N)-San again. She was part of the council, wasn't she?" - "Yes, but she wanted to retire when the next Hokage takes their position. She had enough of the council messing with her. But I am positive that she found someone other than herself that is fit for her role in the council."

"What a pity... But we need to go to the Hokage tower so we can decide on a date when I will become Hokage." Tsunade said and Jiraiya quickly agreed, finally getting the courage to participate in their conversation again. "Then let's get ready and go there."

"We have been told the ceremony should take place as soon as you enter the village Tsunade. So that means we will prepare everything for three days from now. This way you are able to take a look at a few patients that got hurt during the chunin exams." Tsunade gulped and looked at the two elders that were constantly on Third's side. "Okay... Then what do I need to prepare until then?" - "A speech, formal clothing and punctuality as well as being sober. We don't want you to take over the position as a drunk head, don't we Tsunade?" The female elder said in a mocking tone and the busty woman tried her best to keep down her anger.

"Yes... No problem. I guess then everything can be ready and we can get that all over quickly." She said and walked off to get these images of the worst two eldery people she knows, out of her head.

People turned out exciting dialogues and kids were jumping up and down in front of their parents as they waited for the ceremony to begin. (Y/N) was standing next to the other council members in a formal (f/c) kimono with a white Uchiwa Fan, with the Senju symbol on it, in her hand. Formal events weren't her favorite and she tried her best not to shift too much on her feet.

As soon as the flames lit up and the drums started playing, Tsunade stepped out to the public with the Hokage hat on her head. After saying a few words she took off her hat and looked into the crowd. "From this day forward, I will be the ruler of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, the fifth Hokage!"

The wind blew through her blonde hair and fireworks started to burst into the air as the citizens started cheering for their new Hokage. (Y/N) smiled and fanned her face a little while looking at the back from the new Hokage.

"I can finally breathe out and retire" She mumbled happily as she watched the fireworks.

Maybe now that I am free to travel wherever I want... I can find you somehow...
