Eight

"Eugh no... I won't accept the proposal to become Hokage. I don't think I would have the time to write my novels anymore..." (Y/N) sighed and slammed her fist on the table. "I am not asking for you jokes. This is an important matter. It is either your or Tsunade or Danzo. And I still can't trust this man. If I step down as a council member I want to step down with someone who is able to protect Konohagakure and not to push it into demise!" She said strictly and Jiraiya stepped back.

"Yes. Yes. I am sorry if it triggered you too much. But I am still sorry. I don't want the postion of Hokage. I've got asked often enough and I always reclined. I want to protect Konoha but I can't stay at one place the whole time. I think Tsunade would be more fitting for this position. She may be an alchoholic but she is still wise, rational and able to protect Konoha to its fullest." The lady leaned back and nodded. "I guess you are off the hook. Then I will assign you with a mission."

"I want you to seek out Tsunade and bring her here to take over the position of Hokage. And tell her greetings from me and Yukiko. She is missing her a lot." Jiraiya nodded. "I know I know... She told me in a very drunken state" They chuckled and he then left the room leaving (Y/N) alone. Her gaze went up to the ceiling and she closed her eyes. "Oh dear... Please let Tsunade take the position" The (h/c) colored whispered to herself before looking at the scroll before her.

"I Senju (Y/N) will therefore call out my resignment from the duty of a council member as soon as the fifth Hokage begins full filling his duties." She read over and over and continued writing down her request to leave the council and to find a suiting shinobi to fill this spot. After finishing (Y/N) rolled the scroll together and stood up from her chair to leave her study and make her way back home.

Yukiko was sitting on the floor with a tea in her hands, awaiting her mother's arrival. As upon entering (Y/N)'s tired eyes met with the big green eyes of her daughter. "Yukiko... What a surprise you are here. Is everything okay?" She said and kneeled down next to her to pour herself some of the freshly made tea. "Jiraiya is away... And he took the blond squirt with him. Do you know where he is going?" The woman's eyes softened at the caring question of her daughter.

"Jiraiya is out to search for Tsunade." The daughter's eyes lit up and (Y/N) chuckled. "The council decided for her to become the fifth Hokage. And I asked Jiraiya to get her back. I didn't say anything about taking the lively blond boy but I think since he is Jiraiya's student he just had to tag along" Yukiko smiled and put the tea down to stretch her arms. "Tsunade... Oh god she had been away for such a long time. Will she recognize me"

The woman laughed and hit her daughter's head with her fan. "Dummy. I have the feeling you are a toddler again everytime you come here. You stopped aging at 25" Yukiko chuckled and ruffled through her black hair.  "I also came to tell you I have a mission to stop some B-Rank shinobi. The mission is still classified as an A to S Rank because of the number of shinobis. I will be away for some days but with enough luck Tsunade will be here too when I come back."

"Where do you have to go?" (Y/N) asked and sipped on her tea curiously. "Near Yugagakure. They are hidden somewhere in the forest that separates Yugagakure from Konoha. It is a wide place I need to scout but they assigned Soma Hyūga (made up character) to accompany me and to find them more quickly. It is actually amazing to see that they send us two. This is usually a four to five men mission."

"Yugagakure? I planned on visiting this place soon... Who assigned you to this mission? Do you think ANBU will follow you to help if in need?" She asked and Yukiko rolled her shoulders. "Danzo assigned me. He said that he trusts me with this mission. I think he just wants to get rid of me because that man is not stable... Remember that time he pushed me into a well? I was just 6 at that time! Or that one time he told me about that simple D Rank mission I went to and I came back all bloody and messed up because it turned out to be an A? I way just a genin then. That man is truly crazy. But he won't scare me with simple B-Rank shinobis wanting to rob out poor people."

Her mother's eyes closed for a moment and she slowly nodded. "You are totally right... That is why I can't let it happen that this man becomes Hokage. He is always acting like a good and wise man but his whole personality is rotten. I remember his expression after the Uchiha massacre and I will never forget it. He looked so happy and I still don't understand why." Yukiko scoffed. "Yeah... I remember that. As much as I hated the Uchiha's I still met many nice ones. It began with Kagami and then his son! His son was a hottie... I remember that. This man's whole lineage was great"

"You don't sound like you had such a bad connection with Uchihas after all, Yukiko?" The female chuckled and rubbed her arms. "These men were the exceptions. Ugh damn that Madara who destroyed so many people's lifes. And that Izuna dad always talked about. Senju and Uchiha just don't fit." The female said and flipped her hair again.

"Still. As much as the Uchihas made problems nobody is innocent in this world. But laughing and smiling over a whole clan's death is just terrible." The older woman said and sipped on her tea again before sighing deeply. "You are right... Anyways. I need to go. The mission starts tomorrow morning. If I want to get it done quickly I have to leave Konoha early. I also need to tell Soma when to meet so he won't be late."

"Name me one time Hyūgas were late? These people are as punctual as no one else. And please could you give this Hiashi now that I think of it? Tell him it is urgent" (Y/N) said and pulled out a scroll from her sleeve to give it to her daughter.

"No problem mother. I will take my leave now. We will see each other soon!"
