Eddie's P.O.V
Eddie sat up and looked over at Richie who was still asleep, so he got out of bed and walked down to the living room and found Maggie sitting in the dark watching family taped videos, " Maggie? "She turned her attention and looked at Eddie " Maggie are you okay? " she shook her head and took a sip of her wine " It's nothing honey. " Eddie sat done next to Maggie and took the wine glass from her " I heard your fight with Richie. " Maggie looked at the floor " Oh. " Eddie hugged Maggie " I don't think he'll ever understand he grew up with all of this money and he doesn't understand it could all go away in the snap of a finger. " Eddie nodded " He will when the time come's we only have two semesters left in school. " Maggie took a sip of wine and looked at Eddie " You're the best thing that has happened to him Eddie. " Eddie looked at Maggie shock " I'm guessing he hasn't told you everything about him but it's not my place to. " Maggie hugged Eddie one last time " Please keep him safe. " Eddie nodded and Maggie walked down the hallway to her room.
Richie's P.O.V
Richie woke up with his bed empty and cold he looked around his room and saw Eddie's phone so he new Eddie was still here, he got out of bed and walked over to the stairs, he heard Maggie and Eddie's conversation. " What the fuck? " He whispered, he turned around and walked over to the bathroom, he slipped off his sweat pants and looked at his thighs, He looked at the scars and the burn marks " She really had to go and tell him. " He turned on the shower and got in. " Richie are you awake? " Richie washed the soap out of his hair " Yeah." He heard the door open " Eddie? " Richie peeked out from behind the curtain to see Eddie sitting on the toilet lid " We need to talk. " Richie looked at Eddie's face " About? " Eddie pointed at his legs " Do we have to? " Eddie slowly nodded his head " Richie I want to know and I won't judge you. " Richie sighed and returned to behind the curtain and washed the soap off his body. " It's a long story. " He held his hand out and Eddie placed his towel into his hand " I'm ready to listen. " Richie opened the curtain and grabbed Eddie's hand and they walked to his room, He slipped on some underwear and shorts and sat down on the bed next to Eddie " You were gonna ask eventually so I guess it's time you know. " Before Richie could even sat telling his story Eddie hugged Richie and pulled himself onto Richie's Lap " Ed's " Richie looked down at Eddie " I'm ready now. " Richie nodded " It all started in 8th grade we moved to California and I met Heather and her friends we quickly became best friends who were never apart like ever, She found out that my family had money and she kinda used me for it which I didn't see until a few months ago, and like I slowly fell into a depression due to all of this shit that was going on like my mom and her drinking problem and how my dad is never home and then We entered high school Quickly rising to the top of popularity we started going to parties and doing drugs all of that good stuff and then I started dating this one dude, his name is Shane right and well he was a year above us in school and so like yay look lil ol me got a big boy boyfriend and he was just like really toxic and made me feel really shitty about myself told me all about how much he hated parts of my body and my dumb ass listened to him I changed for him and look where it got me, I tried to Kill myself first semester of sophomore year my mom found out and like I had to go to therapy and I had to take medications and it made me feel better but I wasn't getting better. Then we moved out here and I met you and things slowly got better. " Eddie looked up at Richie and hugged him tighter " I'm so sorry Chee. " Richie hugged Eddie back and held on like he was gonna loose him if he let go " It's fine, I'm fine I have you. " Richie laughed and Eddie ran his hand down Richie's thigh " Chee? " Richie looked at Eddie's concerned face " Yes Ed's? " Eddie pointed at one of the burn marks on Richie's thigh " This looks new? " Richie nodded " I put out a cigarette because I was mad at Heather, sorry. " Eddie kissed Richie " Don't hurt yourself, me and Bev will let you rant to us 25/8 your amazing and we love you. "
