Her hazel eyes stared at his black eyes. Though her hazel eyes normally seemed warm, lively, and sparkled with mirth - this time, they seemed to have grown dim and dark.

Gauri: O..Om...Om?

Om: haan, mein.

Gauri's eyes turned darker and more dim. She just stared at Om and Om stared at Gauri. His heart was jumping with joy. The woman he had been wanting to see for six long years was finally in front of his eyes and he could tell that she was upset. He knew that since she was upset, she didn't seem to noticed the fact that she was next to THEIR tree.

Phir le aaya dil majboor kya keeje

Woh jo adhoori si yaad baaki hai

Om: here is your duapatta.

Gauri: I don't want it. You touched it.

She turned away to see Nidhi standing with her arms folded and she had a stern expression on her face.

Nidhi: so finally Naina decided to come back after running away for the millionth time?

Naina: surely I haven't ran away a million times.

Nidhi looked at Naina sternly, making Naina say: ok fine maybe a million times.

Nidhi: you know I was actually going to punish you today, but I don't know. I think if I punish you, you will still act up so I might as well  just send you up to your room.

Naina: that sounds okay to me.

Nidhi: then go! Go to your room.

Naina flashed a smile at Nidhi and ran upstairs. Nidhi rolled her eyes and mumbled to herself: six years gone by, I still don't understand this girl.

Naina went up to her room which she shared with three more girls:
