Last final part before I start crying....

They were now at LA, it took a month for the three to settle in a new house and for Om to settle in his job. Naina wasn't at school yet since her admission was happening after the school holidays were finished.

And it was a perfect time for Om and Gauri to marry.

Their siblings came to join them for the wedding. Naina was their maid of honour, Dhruv was the best man and Isha-Sapphire-Anya were all bridemaids.

Today was the day Gauri would finally be Mrs Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi and Om would be Gauri's husband and Naina would have married parents.

...

The beach looked like perfection...

The wide sand is cascading across the land. There is a small breeze that offers a slight chill, which provides relief from the warm, setting sun. The water crashes against rocks in the distance.

There was a beautiful white altar in the middle of the beach and it was decorated with pink and white roses. The priest was there under the altar, waiting for the bride to come.

Om was there with Dhruv...Om was in a white suit whilst Dhruv was in a black one.

Dhruv: can't believe I have to wear a tux.

Om: shut up Dhruv!

Naina was there, looking adorable as ever in the dress she chose herself...

There were other guests as well...Om and Gauri had made some close friends in LA already so they were invited to the wedding. Om and Gauri's parents haven't spoken to them ever since that day but maybe it was for the best.

Just then soft music played as the bride Gauri came with her bridemaids behind her.

Isha, Sapphire and Anya were wearing matching petite chandra dresses which had high necklines, pleated bodice and had a fitted waist...their dresses were a champagne coloured and the girls carried a bouquet of white roses in their hands.

Gauri had kept her hair in a side bun, she wore simple makeup and diamond earrings and a diamond necklace. But the real eyecatcher was the dress...a Maisie dress that had a feminine cut with an elegant sweet heart neckline completed with a delicate sequined embroidery allowing her to sparkle like a thousand bright stars. On her head, laid a beautiful simple white veil and she held pink roses in her hand.

Gauri reached the altar and faced Om who was wowed seeing his bride.

Priest: we are gathered here today to witness the union of Omkara Singh Oberoi and Gauri Kumari Sharma. The essence of this commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover, companion, and friend. A good and balanced relationship is one in which neither person is overpowered nor absorbed by the other, one in which neither person is possessive of the other, one in which both give their love freely and without jealousy. Marriage, ideally, is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes, and dreams. It takes a special effort to grow together, survive hard times, and be loving and unselfish. We now go to the vows. A little girl told me that her parents wrote their own vows.
