Anya sighed and just continued driving as Gauri looked out of the window. Just then the car stopped.

Gauri: now why did we stop?

Anya: there's a little girl in front of the car.

Gauri looked at the front and saw her....

Gauri: Naina?

Yes it was Naina, a small bag on her back and she was clutching her white bunny rabbit teddy.

Anya: now who's Naina?!

Gauri: just a little girl I met in the park. Open the car door, let her in.

Anya: what?

Gauri: you already tricked me into meeting him so now please be a good little sister and open the car door.

Anya: fine!

Anya  grabbed her car keys, opening the car. Gauri opened her door and signalled Naina to come to her. Naina ran to the opened door and said: you? 15 year old girl?

Gauri chuckled: we already went through this, I am not 15.

Naina: whatever!

Gauri chuckled again: accha get seated in the backseat, you're going back to the orphanage. I am sure the person in charge will be worried.

Naina: I will go in the backseat but...

Anya and Gauri: but?

Naina: but I am not going back to the orphanage.

Gauri: but why?

Naina: I can't go back. Please.

Anya looked at Gauri, both wondering what to do. What could they do with a little girl? They knew that the right thing was to send Naina back to the orphanage but since Gauri could get a better view of Naina (it's night), she could see the fear in her face. Something had happened at the orphanage and she didn't want to go back. Gauri's mind was telling her to send Naina back to the orphanage but her heart disagreed. In the end, her heart spoke for her.

Gauri: fine, get in the backseat....you're coming home with me.

The fear on Naina's face vanished and a smile replaced the fear. Gauri was about to get out of the car to open the door for the backseat for Naina but the little girl seemed to know how to open the car door, do her own seatbelt and close the door properly nevertheless Gauri just double checked. Once that was all done, Anya started driving again.

. . .

Om was driving, thinking about his meeting with Gauri. He thought about the pain that showed so clearly on her face, the tears that filled her eyes, the words she said...she wanted her back, she wanted her back more than anything and tomorrow would be tough on Gauri and him, their princess only joined the world for such a short time and the day she joined the world...she was gone.

'Gauri: you want to know? Fine I'll tell you. Everyday feels like hell! Some days I just want to cry all day long and other days I want to destroy everything. Every time I look at a kid or a small baby, I feel hurt. I start thinking about her. I carried her in my womb, and the day she was born, she left us! I want her back! I badly want her back! I want my baby back! I want my little girl back! But...I can't and that's not fair!'

Her words repeated in his head over and over again. As he thought of Gauri, he suddenly thought of his princess.

'He wanted to drink in the moment seeing the little girl in his arms. She was simply perfection....eyes perfect and black like his, fair skin and she had little tufts of blackish brownish hair.  Though she was only minutes old, she already made her mark in his heart....well actually when she was in the womb, she made her mark in his heart Though she was only minutes old, she had him only wrapped around her baby finger.'
