Part-III Through the wall

Jason -
The next morning I woke up and realised that I had no dreams which was unusual, as demigods can't sleep without having dreams. Then I remembered that I was made a God yesterday and thought that maybe gods didn't hear dreams. I got dressed and went to have breakfast. I sat alone at my table as I was that only child of Zeus at Camp Half Blood, my sister Thalia was a hunter. When I got up after finishing my breakfast I heard Chiron call my name. So I went up to him and asked him why he'd called me. He told me to go to the big house and wait for him and his friends to come.

As I went up to the big house I saw that Argus was standing on the porch with all his eyes watching everything. I stood beside him and waited for Chiron to come with the others. When everyone had assembled at the big house Chiron told us that we are going to Diagon Alley in London for shopping for the school, and gave us letters that had come from the school. I opened it first and read it loudly-

Headmistress of Hogwarts,
Professor McGonagall,
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

31th August

Jason Grace,
Camp Half Blood,
NY.

Jason Grace you have been accepted by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You will find a list of things that you will need enclosed within. Term starts on September 1st.

I opened the letter and fuind the list and a train ticket from platform 9-3/4th.
I looked up at Chiron and said ' September 1st is tomorrow. We have to go to school tomorrow'. Chiron nodded and said ' You should leave now for shopping. Come inside'.

Piper -
I was puzzled, if we had to leave now why go inside. But Chiron had not waited for questions and had trotted inside. So we all went inside the big house went up to Chiron who was standing near the fireplace.
The centuar picked up a bowl which was full of sand and told us to take a handful of it. With confused faces one by one we took the sand.

Chiron- You are going to London by the Floo network. Floo is a way transportation by using magic. You just have to put the sand in the fire, stand in it and say the name of the place where you want to go. In your case you have to say " DIAGON ALLEY" where you will get all the things that are written on your list. When you will come out of the fireplace you will find a man whose name is "Hagrid" he will come with you to all the shops for your safety.

Frank asked the question which I was about to ask - What about the money??

Chiron said - Hagrid will explain. Now do as I told you.

Leo -
I don't know why but I blurted without thinking " I'll go first". And threw the sand in the fireplace and stepped in the emerald fire and yelled " Diagon Alley". Suddenly I ash, smoke and fire started whirling around me and after 3 to 4 second I stumbled out of a fireplace in a pub. I stood beside the fireplace and started dusting off the ash on my clothes. One by one my friends arrived and dusted off their clothes too.
I walked to the counter of the pub and asked what is this place and where can I find a man with the name Hagrid. An old man who was sitting on a stool told me that the pub's name is Leaky Cauldron and that Hagrid is waiting for 10 people in the backyard. I thanked him and went to my friends and told them to follow me.
We went in the backyard and found a very giant man. Percy went to him and talked with him for a minute and the giant nodded and they both walked towards us.

Annabeth-

Hagrid and Percy walked towards us and Hagrid said - Hello, I am Hagrid. The gamekeeper of Hogwarts. I was asked by the headmistress to accompany ye all for shopping for safety. You've all got your lists right.

We all nodded. He pulled out an umbrella and started counting the bricks on a wall. Then he tapped the umbrella on some bricks and the wall started opening.
I thought that this must be done by magic cause as far as I knew no wall could open. Hagrid told us to follow him and we walked behind him into Diagon Alley. I told Hagrid that Chiron had told us that you'd explain us about the money. He nodded and told me that we were going to the wizarding bank Gringotts that is run by goblins.
Will - Goblins! Those nasty creatures.
Nico - Don't talk about them like that in the bank. They can be very bad if they want to be.
Hagrid agreed with him and said - Hogwarts is providing the money for the ten of you. As the headmistress had requested your camp director to send the best demigods they had to fight in the war.
We reached a big snowy white building that was at the intersection of two alleys. Something was engraved on both the sides of the door but Hagrid hurried us inside. I looked at the counters that were on both the side in a line. Some Goblins were weighing rubies, emeralds. Some were counting large gold coins. We went to the main counter that was about 6 feet.
Hagrid said in a booming voice - Vault no. 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109 and 110 for the new American student for Hogwarts. The goblin looked down suspiciously at us and yelled ' Griphook '. A goblin came from one of the counters that were weighing rubies. He said something to the goblin and told us to go behind him. We went with Griphook behind the high counter and he opened a door and told us to go inside. Before we could go inside Hagrid gave all of us a leather pouch and told us to fill it with money from their vaults and told us that he will wait for them outside the bank.
