Part - VIII The Dangerous Life Story

Percy -

Percy was shaken. The images had flashed across him mind the moment he had put on the hat. Tartarus. Gaia. Kronos . Everything. Every miserable memory.

Professor McGonagall asked all of them to come forward and tell the students about themselves and their lives.

He went first and started telling the story of their lives.

" Hi, I am Percy Jackson. And I am a demigod, so are my friends. A demigod is a kid of a god and a mortal. I am the son of the sea god Poseidon. Annabeth is the daughter of Athena. Jason is the son of Zeus. Piper is the daughter of Aphrodite. Leo is the son of Hephaestus. Frank is the son of Ares. Hazel is the daughter of Hades. Will is the son of Apollo. And Nico is the son of Hades. Nico and Hazel are half - siblings. Calypso is a demi-Titan, as she is the daughter of the Titan Atlas."

Several students snorted, not believing Percy. Before Percy could say anything, McGonagall said that it was true with a stern look at the kids.

" We live in Camp Half Blood. It is a place where demigods can train and be safe. The gods live at Mount Olympus." Annabeth said.

" We go on quests, when needed and use prophecies for help" Percy continued, "There have been two great prophecies. The first one was about me. I defeated Kronos, who was a Titan that wanted to kill the gods and take over Olympus. The second one was about 7 demigods defeating Gaia, the earth and her children giants from taking over the world. The 7 demigods that defeated Gaia a bit months ago are Me, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank and Hazel. See, there are two groups of demigods Greek and Roman.
They hated each other cause the Romans stole the statue of Athena and buried it underground. Annabeth recovered it alone a few months ago. It stands on the hill of the Camp. So, to defeat Gaia the two groups had to co-operate and with the help of the gods defeat Gaia and the giants. So Hera exchanged the leaders of the both groups with their memories wiped. Jason came to Camp Half Blood and I went to Camp Jupiter. After much pain and sacrifice the two groups co-operated and we defeated Gaia. Jason, Frank and Hazel are Roman, the rest of us are Greeks."

This went on for an hour with Percy and Jason explaining all the quests that they had gone on, Annabeth quest of the Mark of Athena and Annabeth and Percy falling into Tartarus, finding the doors of death and all the things that had happened to them.

After they finished all the students were very stunned. They believed that their lives were much harder than Harry Potter's.

All the Professors sitting on the high table clapped and the students joined.

Professor McGonagall said," After a week new classes are going to start in which combat will be teached by them and they will be helping in the war. Now let's have dinner."

They sat at the Gryffindor table and food appeared. The students started eating but Percy and his friends did not touch the food. McGonagall noticed and went to the table. She asked Percy why they weren't eating the food. Percy told her that at camp before eating dinner they always burned a bit of their food as an offering to the Gods. She nodded and smiled at the 10. She told them to follow her. They took their plates and followed her in the corner of the hall. All the students were staring at them. McGonagall conjured fire in a bowl and stood aside. One by one they burned the food in the fire and then went back to their table and started eating.

McGonagall realised that everyone was looking at her for an answer. She told them why they burned the food and went to the high table.

Many students asked Percy many questions and he answered all of them.
After dinner was done McGonagall gave out some notices and sent them to their dormitories.

The 10 went in a corner of the common room and started talking about the school. After some time they decided to go to bed.
