I heard their whispers.
"Why is anyone friends with her?!"
"She is really weird and reserved."
I don't want to do this but I'm getting lost in that headspace again. I am exhausted of how things are around me especially when I can't do nothing about how my life is at the position I currently am. I am tired of everything around me not working out.
I have heard enough, I can't believe people are so quick to judge and conclude. I feel weak and powerless against them. I feel scrutinized and judged. All I wished was to be alone in the washroom. It's after lunch, no one is as lame as me to be here. Then suddenly I hear footsteps.
"Hey, are you okay? I heard someone crying" asked the voice.
I didn't reply.
"There is no one here and I have hall passes. Take your time, but tell me what's wrong, maybe I can help you" stated the warm voice.
"Who are you" I hesitantly asked. No one was ever this supportive towards me.
"You're knight in shinning armour " the voice chuckled softly as she passed me a tissue through the door.
"You know, it's always okay to cry, crying is proof that your struggles will soon end. That you are strong and you will make through it. Crying is never a weakness. Please come out, I promise I won't tell anyone. Let me help you." it added.
I opened the door and someone pulled me into a hug. After a long time I felt safe. I felt warm, and cried my eyes out. I might have tear stained her shirt but she didn't mind. All that mattered to her was me being okay. I thought what kind of person is this stranger.
She is so sweet yet mysterious.
