The party

Later that night around 6:30, everyone started heading to Paul's house. Mattia, Alejandro, Roshaun and Kairi got there first. The party had just got going when Ava and Chase got there. They were greeted at the door with a woman to take their things and someone who gave them a drink. Paul was up to his balls in money; he basically bathed in it.
Anyways when the two friends got out to the back of the house where the party was they immediately saw Alejandro, Kairi and Mattia. Mattia was gazing at Ava almost in awe; but he wasn't the one she was looking at. Ava always had a tiny crush on Alejandro. Chase thought that they would be such a cute couple but Ava lives so far away- it would never work out. And Ale was dating Katie anyways so.
The party progresses throughout the night and when Chase was drawn away by his other friends and onto the dance floor Ava slinked away into a corner. She and Mattia glanced at each other from across the room. Ava quickly looked back down at her phone. Mattia walked over to her. They were very alike; just Mattia was more confident in social situations.. more likely to walk over to his crush at a party.
"Hey how's it going." Mattia said nonchalant.
"Fine I guess. How are you?" Ava was kind of nervous she didn't know why though; she has never noticed how cute Mattia was. As he was talking to her he didn't stop smiling.
"I've followed you on tiktok for a while." Mattia says like he's trying to bring the conversation further.
"Yeah I followed you back"
"Yeah I know." Mattia started to realize how much he really liked her. She was beautiful and funny and her smile could make your heart skip a beat. Mattia was hardcore flirting with her and he didn't think she was catching on but she did; she definitely caught on.
"So how do you know Paul?" Ava asked
"We're like almost cousins or something. I don't really know how it works but it's whatever. So why are you in New Jersey?" Mattia says with a smile.
"Oh; I'm just here visiting Chase for a couple of weeks."
"That's nice." Mattia smiled briefly "I'm gonna go get a drink if you want anything."
"Oh I'll just go with you." Ava said. She didn't know if she liked Mattia or just thought he would be a good friend. Either way she didn't know how close they would become.
Ava and Mattia ordered their drinks and returned back to their spot away from the hustle of the dance and crazy party. They were taking, laughing and becoming oddly comfortable with each other. The party and all it's music was getting really loud so Mattia asked, "do you want to go somewhere a little quieter?"
"Um.. yeah sure." Ava said; she had no idea what to think. She had started to really like Mattia.
The two of them walked over towards the private small pool in a corridor tucked away on the giant property. Ava slipped her heeled sandals off her feet and dips them into the pool while sitting in the edge. Mattia sat down next to her but refrained from taking his shoes off; his feet were perched up next to him on the edge of the pool.
The two of them continued to laugh and joke and they never stopped smiling. At this point the smile washed off of Mattia's face and was replaced with the look of lust. He stared at Ava until her attention was brought away from the glow of the pool in the moonlight and back up to him. She instantly felt the same as him and as he leaned in she followed right along. Their lips touch for a couple of seconds as the moment comes to an end.
Ava pulls away gently, smiles and looks towards the pool while touching her lips. "Wow" she thought. She really liked him.
Simultaneously Mattia reacted the same. He smiled down at his drink with the signature "I did it!" face and slight blush on his tanned cheeks. He took a drink as they both pondered for a second.
"Mattia?" Ava asked smitten as he looked up and rendered "yeah?"
They locked eyes and went in for another kiss this one was somehow better than the first and they were both intertwined in affection and lust.
