Hey! Since this is my first official chapter, I'm asking you to stay positive and if you don't like the story you can always leave. If you are offended by words with profanity, then you don't have to read either. Enjoy!
"I must speak to the Headmaster," announced Professor Mcgonagall, her lips thinner than any student has ever seen them before. She grabbed Neville by the ear, and led him away, her slippers rustling as she took swift steps.
Percy was left in charge, he attempted to hush the Gryffindors down, but soon gave up. It was total disaster.
Girls were crying, some first years were praying in a small circle, most boys were cussing out Sir Cadogan.
"Poor Neville," said Hermoine, still in her white pijamas, told Harry. Harry nodded, feeling just as bad for the boy.
After a few minutes of waiting, 3 gongs sounded out loudly, followed by Dumbledore's deep mighty voice ringing out across the whole school:
"This is an emergency. All students get into a single file line of classmates in their year and come down to the Entrance Hall. Do not panic. I repeat, All students get into a single file line of classmates and come down to the Entrance Hall immediately."
The Gryffindors did as they were told, lining up fist year boys with the first year boys, third year girls with the third year girls, and so on.
As they made it down the stairs, Percy in the lead, they were halted by a catastrophe dressed in pearl- white polka dot overalls, a dreadful striped tie, and an awful joker hat. Upon Peeves face was a malicious grin, outlined by pearl-white lip paint.
"Peeves." Percy warned. "I order you to let us pass. This is an inconvenient time for one of your foolish pranks."
"Why so Sirius?" snickered Peeves. He laughed. "Get it? 'Cause it's serious..."But no one listened and marched right past him. They made it down to the Entrance Hall, where the sleepy Slytherins and Hufflepuffs were already gathered in lines. The Ravenclaws followed not too far behind the Gryffindors. All the teachers were fluttering around, keeping the dark-circled children in check.
Dumbledore stood up front with Lupin, Snape, and Mcgonagall. Neville was being scolded by Snape, and Harry's heart sank when he saw silent tears streaming down his face. Once all the students had gathered in the hall, Dumbledore clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.
