Since Draco was a child, he had been Harry Potter's biggest fan. When he heard stories about the Dark Lord's epic defeat, his jaw always dropped open in awe.
When he heard he was going to the same school as Harry, he made an oath he would become best friends with him and would fight along his side. He told his neighbors and friends how he would someday be the second greatest wizard of all time, how he would defeat Dark Lords.
He bragged about going to go to the same school as him and how they were already best friends.
The worst day of his life was when Harry declined his friendship. Draco has spent his whole life preparing for that moment, and he had failed. He had then turned sour against Potter so that it wouldn't be obvious that he had ever had a secret obsession. But deep down he still had a feeling for him. Not even his parents knew this, they would kill him for sure. The only trace he had ever liked Potter was in his secret diary, which he showed no one.
Not even his mother knew about, not did Crabbe or Goyle. It was a secret to everyone else.
When he had received the news that he was sharing a room with Potter, he acted disgusted, but deep down he had mixed emotions.Draco was glad he would be spending a lot of time with his admirer but anxious that he would have to act like he hated him when really all he wanted to do was give him a big hug.
When he saw Potter sneaking out with the Invisibility Cloak he was thrilled. This would be the perfect chance to have the adventure he always dreamed of having!
When Potter dropped unconscious before him, Draco scooped him up without a doubt and ran faster then his skinny legs could carry him. He outran the dementor and made it to the room safely. Draco layed Harry down on the bed, noticing how much calmer he looked when he slept. He pulled off his glasses and set them on the pillow.
He decided this 'adventure' was worth writing down in his diary. He went over to his bag to pull the diary out... but his diary was gone.
