After a solid hour down in the Chamber, they somehow managed to crawl up the slide and into the bathroom, wincing and rubbing their arses.

"I could hear you from up here," grumbled Myrtle as they emerged.

Harry and Draco headed down to dinner. As they entered the Hall, all chatter stopped and every head turned towards them. They walked slowly and awkwardly towards their tables and took a seat.

As every eye bore into his, Harry began to doubt that shagging Malfoy again was really worth the embarrassment.

At last, whispering broke out in the hall, which evolved into small talk, and finally into chatter again.

Both Ron and Ginny were looking at him with a look of betrayal in his eyes, and Hagrid....

Hagrid was looking at Harry with tears threatening to spill, a look of utmost betrayal on his face.

Then Harry felt guilt like he never had before.

Hagrid's favorite pet and possibly closest friend, Buckbeak was going to execution because of Draco. And Harry had let him down.

Harry turned maroon and looked down at his shoes. He was looking down at his shoes as he walked up to the common room, no one speaking to him.

The following day was even worse. People whispered words like "whore, floozy, and f*g" in his ear. No one spoke to him besides insults and Ron and Hermione and everyone in his house was neglecting him.

Draco was even worse. Pansy no longer sat with him, which meant Blaise didn't either, and Crabbe and Goyle were so embarrassed they stopped bodyguarding Malfoy.

That day on the Daily Prophet, the headline was an intimate moving photograph of Harry and Draco making out on the Quidditch field, and phrases like,
"who would have thought the boy who lived was gay,"
"we can only guess how disappointed Lucius and Narcissa must be."
"Students report the two boys were gone for an hour before returning to dinner."

"According to the ghost Myrtle, they did "it" in the Chamber of Secrets so "no one could hear them."

And sure enough, that same day a Howler arrived from Lucius and Narcissa, blaring out their disappointment for the whole school to hear.
