I enter the house I was currently taking up residence in and throw my car keys on the counter. I didn't stay in places very long so cash deal rentals for short periods of time were my M-O. I pull a beer from the fridge then head into the backroom to get a shower then some rest.

I stood under the hot water enjoying the feeling of it running down my skin. I heard my phone ringing and let out an irritated sigh. I turned off the water and stepped out to see who was calling me. I answered the phone without saying a word, as I liked to let the caller speak first.

"Is this Graham?" The caller asked.

"And why do you want to know?" I hissed.

"Wow you sound irritated," says the other voice.

"Why hello Derek, how are you?" I tried to sound a little more pleasant.

"Good." he replied, "Are you free this evening?"

"By free do you mean, do I have any jobs?"

"Exactly."

"No I don't."

"Okay, heard you're in New York."

"Who's talking?" I snapped wondering who knew my location and who they were telling.

"I know a kill by 'The Assassin' when I see one," He laughed.

"You're here too?" I questioned.

"Yes, can I come see you?" he asked.

"Sure," I answered then gave him the address.

"See you soon."

I hang up with a smile. I had known Derek for years. He was a fellow gun for hire so to speak. Except his kills were more public and messy then mine. He was one that I never minded keeping for company.

A knock on my door let me know that he had arrived. He came right in and looked at me in my current position. I was sitting on the couch, my feet on my coffee table and a beer in my hand.

"What did you do today?" he asked.

"You already know," I gave him a sideways look.

"How did that go?" he asked.

"As well as I hoped it would" I laughed then took a drink of the beer.

"Okay then," he smirked.

"Im going to make us some dinner then we can act like normal civilized human beings," he commented.

"Whatever you say."

"Derek?" I called as I realized the noise coming from the kitchen had become non-existent. "What are you doing?"

I got up and moved to that area of the house wondering what was going on.

"Sorry girly," he said as I entered the room. I looked to my right and see Derek standing there with a gun pointed at my head.

"Derek, what are you doing?" I asked feeling a sense of anger building up inside of me.

"My job, you would do the same," he snapped.

"Who hired you?" I hissed through gritted teeth.

"No one," He chuckled, "this is personal."

I swung my arm up hitting his and the gun went off leaving a bullet hole in my ceiling. I grabbed his wrist and twist it while kneeing him in the gut. His gun went flying across the room. I turned and took off down the hall to the main room. I grabbed a pistol off the dresser and turned around to face the doorway. I fired two shots at Derek who ducked behind a wall. I scowl as I leaned back to hide behind the door frame.

"Assassin!" I heard him yell down the hall, "you cant hide down there forever!"

"No!" I yelled back, "I just got to kill you first!"

I heard his foot steps as he came running down the hall. I step out to shoot him but he tackled me to the ground before I could get a shot off. My gun to flew from my hand and across the room. I kicked and thrashed trying to get free from his grip.

"It's over," he grinned down at me.

"Not yet!" I grab the knife from my leg holder and stab him in the thigh.

He cried out in pain and I manged to push him off of me. I make a mad leap for my gun and Derek jumped too. We landed side by side both reaching for the weapon. He grabbed my hair and jerked my head backwards. He grabbed the gun before my fingers could reach it. He stood up taking me up with him by my hair. Our eyes locked and I felt the anger boiling up inside me.

"You traitorous ass," I spat.

"I've been called a lot worse," He sneered.

"Ill get you you son of a bitch," I snapped!

"I'm sorry," he said in a fake tone, "Not today."

He pulled the trigger on the gun causing a bullet to enter my stomach. I gasped as I felt the pain kick in. I looked down to see the blood seeping into my shirt. Derek pulled me close, his lips brushing my ear.

"You owe me," he whispered before he put another bullet into my gut.

He let go of my hair and I collapsed to the ground. I felt my world begin to spin as my life was ending. He pulled out my phone and dialed a number. He dropped the ringing phone next to my head with a satisfied grin.

"I'll let you say good bye to a certain someone before you die," he smiled down at me sadistically.

"You'll never get away with this!" I choked out as he left.

"You wont be around to chase me," He commented, "so Ill take my chances."

"Hello?" A voice I hadn't head in a long time came over the line.

"Red," I let out in shock.

"Kelsy?!" I heard the panic arrive in his voice "Kelsy, what happened?"

But before I could answer, I passed out escaping into a world of silent blackness.

Red

"Aram," Red said with a fake cheery tone, "Its Reddington."

"What can I do for you Mr. Reddington," Aram stammered on the other end of the phone.

"I need you to run a trace for me," Red told him.

"I can do that," Aram replied.

Red read him the number and Aram ran it through the system.

"Alright its a burner phone," he informed Reddington, "I was able to trace it to a house."

Aram read off the address and Red gave off a sigh of relief.

"Thank you Aram!" Red hung up.
