Her eyes fluttered open and light seeped into her pupils. She blinked and took in deep breaths of air. A nurse came over saying something she couldn't understand. All she could hear was distance voices. The girl reached up feeling the breathing mask on her face.

How long had she been laying in that hospital bed? Who had gotten her here?

"Where am I?" Kelsy asked.

"You're in a safe location provided by Mr. Reddington," the nurse responded.

"Where is he?" Kelsy looked around the area at the plastic walls surrounding the medical equipment.

"He's out at the moment,

"I want to see him."

"I'll tell him that if I see him," said the nurse.

Red where are you?

She tried to sit up but  pain kicked in and she leaned back in the bed. .

"I need to I see him," She began to lose her temper, "Where is he!?"

"Glad to see your temper survived," said Red walking in.

"Where were you?" she snapped.

"I have a life too Kelsy, " he snapped back at her, "I can't sit by your side every second of the day."

"But according to the nurse you have been," Kelsy countered, "until right now."

"Yes, I have been," he let out a sigh.

"Rumor on the streets has it you're working with the FBI," Kelsy remarked, "but why would you do that."

Red stayed silent and Kelsy's eyes studied him carefully.

"Am I missing something here Red?" she raised an eyebrow.

"You will know the answer when you need to," Red answered.

"You and your secrets," Kelsy scoffed.

"Glad to see your temper survived," Dembe laughed.

"Always will," she joked back.

Waiting in the makes-shift hospital room was annoying. Time moved to slow for my liking.  Red stopped by daily bringing me updates on his hunt for Derek. I knew it wouldn't be easy. We knew each other's tricks. He would be as unpredictable as fast as I could guess where he would be. I needed out  of this place to hunt him myself. I wanted out to hunt him myself4r.

"Red," I complained one day,"I can stand up and get around on my own. Can I leave?"

"Patience Kelsy," he said.

"Oh come on," I groaned, "Im not a little girl. I can take care of myself."

"Fine," He stood up from his chair, "Ill make the arrangements."

"Finally!"

Red left and I sat up in bed relieved I could finally be out of this place. I know Red cared and was worried but I had been on my own for so long that I didn't need a babysitter so to speak. A nurse came into the room with syringe and medicine bottle. It was a man, he had on a face mask and nurse's hat and I assumed it was one of Red's hires even though I had never seen him before.

"I just need to give you this shot to help fight infection then Mr. Reddington will arrange for you to leave," he said, "Can I have your arm?"

I pull up my sleeve and roll my arm over exposing the underside. When he grabbed my wrist, I catch a glimpse of a tattoo on his forearm. It was "D". I then realize who my "nurse" really was.

"Let go of me!" I yelled and jerked away before Derek could inject me with whatever was in that needle. He grabbed my shoulders and pinned me down. I thrashed but he managed to pin one of my arms down and stick the needle in. I got my other hand free and punched him before he could inject the liquid.

"Red!" I yelled at the top of my lunges, "Dembe! Someone help!"

I jump up ripping the needle from my arm. I held it like a knife ready to use it on my attacker.

"How did you find me?" I snapped.

"Easy to track you when you know people on the inside of the Reddington ring," Derek laughed, "not even the great Raymond Reddington could hide you."

"Nice to see you will resort to petty methods!"

"Just using Assassin tactics!"

I lunge at him and then we engage in hand to hand combat. He could out do me in strength but I was more agile. If I could keep moving I could have the upper hand. I hear commotion from the other side of the plastic and I knew it was Red or Dembe. Derek must have heard it too because he backed off and we stood facing each other on either side of the room.

"Until next time Graham," he said before disappearing through the makeshift wall.

I chased after him but by the time I cleared the building, he was long gone. Dembe appeared behind me as I stood there looking around in frustration.

"Who was here?" asked Dembe.

"Derek."

"How did he find you?"

"I don't know."

"Where did he go?"

"I cant answer that either."

"You have a leak in your ranks Red," I sat on the other side of a table from Red.

"Ill find it," he said.

"You better."

"What happened to you?"

"What happened to me?! I got dragged into your lifestyle! I never got a chance to be normal! I was trained to be a criminal! So I became an assassin! And I am damn good at it! You chose my life Raymond Reddington! I didn't get to be normal! Not after I met you!"

I got up and stormed out of the building furious.

3rd POV

Dembe looked over at Red who appeared frustrated with the woman's reaction.

"She has a point," Dembe pointed out.

"I know she does," Red sighed.

"Let her have some space," Dembe said, "she will come around."

"She usually does," said Red, "but it is Kelsy."
