Today is the day. The day we finally meet them. I would be lying if I said we weren't excited. Mr Solomon's voice cut through my thoughts, as he passed out piece of evapopaper.

"On this piece of paper is a list of the codenames of the ladies you will be tailing."

"Where is the image, or comments about them?" Chase asks.

Good question. All there was on this sheet of evapopaper was ten codenames. They were all recognisable from the hacking job we did yesterday. Duchess, Chameleon and seven others.

He knew that Chase asked a question. He just ignored it and instead said, "Get acquainted with your surroundings, you have the home advantage after all. The girls have already arrived."

As he suspiciously leaves us alone in the town with comms units and the evapopaper, we all partnered up and follow his orders. But Grant was fuming, "what does he mean? Isn't that just two contradicting sentences? How are we supposed to know what to do?"

"Dude chill," I respond and immediately say, "Subject with blond hair and blue glasses."

"Correct, Mr Goode." A few beats later, I hear Mr Solomon mutter "Ms Walters, you have been compromised."

"How did you-? We have only just lef-" Grant starts

Feeling better than I have since Mr Solomon introduced the idea of the Chameleon, I point to myself and smirk. "Spy."

Eight descriptions of girls later, we were acing this test. I mean, this is so easy. There are only two left and none of us have even been compromised yet. What was Mr Solomon talking about? These girls aren't even that go-

Before I could finish that sentence, Mr Solomon started, "Williams, Sellers, Smith and Miller, you have all been compromised."

How? There are only four girls left? How could they already dwindle four out of our seven?

"Correct, Chameleon."

Damn, this girl is the real deal. After a while, Grant and I split to cover more ground. Soon after, Grant was compromised.

Immediately, I rattle off a description of another girl.

"Ms Baxter, you have been compromised."

I feel like I've been walking for hours and I still haven't seen a sign of the Chameleon. I walked into a café, an ice-cream shop and passed by all the stores in the mall, but no luck.

After a while, I enter the hall where a concert is being held and when I took a step into the hall, Mr Solomon sighed. "Mr Goode, you have been compromised."

Moping into the back of the hall, I meet Grant and the other boys. How could I have failed? I never failed. And on top of all of that, the first mission I failed was against girls. GIRLS!

"Have you found her?" Chris asks as we were scanning the stage. All the players in the band come to the front to stand next to the singer and the stage manager runs out to whisper something into the singer's ear.

"I see," she replies and turns towards the keyboard player.

"May all the Blackthorne and Gallagher students come backstage please?" the keyboard player says and pulls her hair casually behind her ear flashing her earpiece identical to ours before bowing a couple more times and retreating backstage with her bandmates.

As we entered the backstage area, we were lead to the helicopter pad on the roof, where Mr Solomon stood disappointingly alongside the other Gallagher girls.

"I told you that they would give you a run for your money, but you didn't believe me."

Which one is she? Which is the thought running through everyone's minds.

"Instead you thought how easy it would be because they are girls."

He paused but we didn't think anything of it until a thwack of a sword pierced the ground in front of us. But it wasn't Mr Solomon, he wasn't in the position of follow through, and why would he interrupt his own lecture.

The clanking of heels interrupts my train of thought. We all turned around towards the sound.
