The stillness of all of us droned on forever until the clanking of heels was halted as the keyboard player, or the Chameleon reached the Gallagher girls behind Mr Solomon. After a beat of her hugging her friends, Mr Solomon casually commented, "Good work," breaking the deafening silence.

"Well you know me, Mr Solomon," she began, "it's what I do." As if she had all the time in the world, she grabbed the bag handed to her by one of her friends and changed from her current heels to sneakers as we gawked at her.

"What?" she said and follows our gaze towards her doing up her laces, "well, I needed comfortable shoes since this may take forever to explain to you, and those heels are painful."

As she completed Before we could question what she was about to do, she walks up towards us and situates herself next to Mr Solomon as if that is her place. Glancing towards the bag, he nods and steps aside.

"It was against Mr Solomon's orders for the girls to change outfits on our mission because you would never catch us."

"Obviously," the first girl that I identified whom Mr Solomon called Ms Walters.

"However, I did make a small one, sorry Mr Solomon. I had to change for the concert."

He waves it away signifying for her to continue.

But then how could we not see her?

"But you still didn't catch me. Now, I bet you are all thinking how you couldn't find me."

How did she-

"Ugh, boys are so predictable aren't they?" A girl says as she walks onto the roof.

We all stood there shocked. Who is who? What?

"They sure are," the girl we thought was the Chameleon said, hugging the other girl.

Wow, she's pretty. What am I thinking? Concentrate. You need to figure this out. What is happening?

"Thanks Duchess," she said pulling away. "I can take it from here."

But the new girl is pretty in a way that I can't describe. She's pretty in the way that she doesn't know that she is and that she- COME ON ZACH, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER.

A giggle slipped from Duchess' mouth, "I know you can, but it's funny to watch them."

Mr Solomon's cough cut their conversation and Chase, cut to the chase, "Are you going to clue us in?" Everyone knows he's a bit stupid, and that's why he clearly doesn't think before he speaks.

"Well now that you asked Mr Williams," the new girl, who I now assumed was the Chameleon, started, "we will."

"Geez thanks," James mumbled.

"What was that, Mr Brown?" Duchess turned and cracked her knuckles. "I would be happy to punch you the next time you interrupt, and I'm sure I would be doing the world justice since I would be ridding the world of an ignorant bastard." Quietness followed. "Great, now as you were saying," she finished facing her friend.

"Thanks," she mouthed. Duchess squeezed her hand and in the nick of time "Well," she starts looking at all of us. "You all saw me. But you didn't suspect me. Why? Because you were not expecting it."

"I was the girl who ate a double choc-chip fudge ice-cream cone at the ice-cream shop; I was the girl at the cash register of the café; I was the teenager yelling at her mother through her phone near the supermarket; I was the girl who was crying in the corner because her boyfriend broke up with her at McDonalds." She pauses waiting for a response. I rack my brain. I went past all of these places, but I try to dredge up a glimpse of her but I come up blank. I look across the room to see if any of the others recalled her. But, my facial expression is reflected back at me across everyone's face like mirrors.

"You expect a girl spy to be looking across their shoulder, holding her hand to her comms unit, speaking in code. But really? This isn't a spy movie, this is reality. We are not weak; we are trained at a school exactly like yours and probably better than yours too. But you'll see."
