Rin pov

"Everyone this is the newest student Rin," The professor states.

The professor has pale hair with matching pale ears and a pale fluffy tail. He looks pretty young. Although aging doesn't really show itself on Nekos.  The professor looks through some paperwork that Mephisto helped me fill out.

"If you want you can share your pronouns and sexuality before we start today," The professor whispers to me. I nod

"My pronouns are he/him and I don't know my sexuality yet," I share. The other Nekos nod.

The professor shows me my seat and the other Nekos take turns introducing themselves. In total there are six including me and the professor.  The Professor is named Mr. Abe. He seems very nice.

"Alright, this school year we have gotten two new students. That is one more than last year. So I would say it has been a productive year. So now that we have gone over introductions we are going to go over the basics again. I apologize to those who have already been through this multiple times," Mr. Abe states.

He starts to write on the board and a few of the Nekos start talking. One of the girls walks over and sits next to me. She has light brown hair and tan skin. "Hi, My name is Rose. I was the student who joined at the beginning of the year," Roes says.

She is a pretty girl. She seems nice too. But I don't really feel anything. "I just wanted to let you know that this class is very easy. Most days we just sit around and do nothing. sometimes we learn about things but the concepts are really easy." Rose explains. I nod.

"And in this classroom, we are excepting of really anything this is a safe place and Mr. Abe is always in his classroom if you ever need anything during the day. Sometimes I come in here and eat lunch with a few of the other Nekos. If you ever need any help I will be here," Rose adds.

I nod. "Thanks," I reply.

"Alright, so this classroom has only three rules. 1. No, not-Nekos in the classroom. There are a few exceptions to this. Like if there's an emergency or if it's for a lesson. Also, Not-Neko teachers are allowed in here. This rule is just for the safety of everyone here." Mr. Abe explains. Rose goes back to her seat.

"2. follow school rules. The exceptions to these are the ones Nekos get to break like wearing hats inside and the school uniform. Although there is a dress code. It's very simple just don't show anything explicate. and For clarification, your tail and ears are not explicated.

3. Stay calm. This rule is important because if you are sad or scared when here it will spread and make everyone scared. If you are feeling upset you can always come to talk to me or go to the counselor or really any teacher. There is practical in order to help you so don't be afraid to ask for help." Mr. Abe adds. "So, any questions?"

"Not really," I reply.

Mr. Abe nods.

"But I would like to know if anyone was uncomfortable showing their tails or ears once they found out what they were because that has been on my mind for a while," I ask.

Mr. Abe smiles. "Who would like to tell Rin of their experience?" He looks up and looks around the classroom. Everyone has their hand up.

He picks Rose. "So at first I was scared and confused but then when I told others about it and showed them the accepted me and I feel a lot better now knowing that they know and accept me. People do treat you a bit differently in the first few days and week but that dies down over time."

I feel a bit better knowing that.

"Good job Rose. And thank you for reminding me about the reactions," Mr. Abe replies. "So, Rin when you tell others that you are a Neko or when they find out, they will act differently around you. They will usually try to protect you from everything or act like they are closer to you than they really are. It can get annoying but they only react that way because they are immature and don't know how to handle themselves."

"Most of the older kids who have already been living with it for a while won't have this reaction. Alphas will also not have the same reactions as others. They might just try to protect you no matter what but that is what they are supposed to do. Just for precaution, it would always be smart to befriend an alpha and be close to them. Not all Doms that go to this school will have a pack and they will most likely try to pull something on you. So having an alpha around you is smart. Or at least a dom who is in a pack. All of the dom teachers are in a pack so if you have to you can eat lunch with a teacher. Teachers are obligated to let you eat lunch with them, if you don't want to eat with any of your other teachers or you think I am really cool you can come to eat lunch with me. I am in here for lunch always and on an occasion, I will have another teacher in the class," Mr. Abe adds.

I nod.

"Also most days in class we just hang out. Although over the next few days I will be going over all of the perks being a Neko brings and the exceptions to the rules you get. But for now, you can have the rest of the class time off to yourself," Mr. Abe says as he sits down at his desk.

Rose comes back over.

"I have a few questions they are small questions," I say.

"Ask away," She responded.

 "Is there assigned seating?"

"No, we are allowed to sit where ever but most everyone has a favorite seat," Rose replies.

"So who is the Alpha of the teacher pack?"

"The director," Rose replies.

"And do we learn how to identify alphas? I was able to tell the teachers are a part of a pack and I could tell the director had authority but is there a specific way you can tell or is it subtle?" I ask.

"Umm, I don't really know. I guess you can just tell with practice," Rose replies.

Mr. Abe overhears our conversation. "Well, that is a very good question Rin. From my and other Nekos experiences it has been just a feeling we get. It is usually subtle but over time you recognize it easier,"
