Pardon me (Neko Rin)

Ch 17

Rin pov

Mephisto continues to rub my ears and I let my tail sway happily behind me. "So do demons have mating seasons?" I ask. 

"Sort of. There are heat waves in Gehenna every few months. It only lasts about a week. and that is demon months. And that just creates a desire to mate. But for the demon kings, it's a desire to groom. and for that season I have a feeling you will be placed with either Lucifer or me. We have the most self-control during the season while our brothers could lose their sanity during the season. Especially if they are near you," Mephisto replies.

I nod.

Amaimon pov

I teleport to Lucifer he is in his office. 

"Hello, Amaimon finally decide to join me?" Lucifer asks. 

"no, I am neutral as I will as always be... I have some information for you."

Lucifer puts down the paper he was looking over. 

"Do tell," Lucifer says. 

"Rin is a Neko and Mephisto is keeping Rin to himself," I reply. Lucifer smiles. 

"Samael has never been good at sharing but he knows better than to keep a sub away from us. I might as well go see Rin then."

"What do you plan to do? Mephisto won't let Rin go so easily."

"Rin is a Neko, therefore, he is going to be attracted to the more dominant Alpha. Mephisto is your older brother but he is my little brother. I have dominated him before. So I will show what power I have over him and Rin will come to me," Lucifer replies. I smile and Lucifer teleports away. 

Rin may hate me for this but soon he will thank me.

Rin pov

I sit with Mephisto when I hear a knock on the door. I look to the door confused. It's Sunday who would be at the door? I look at Mephisto and he seems just as confused as me. I get off of his lap and Mephisto opens the door and then closes it. 

"Who is it?" I ask. 

"No one important," Mephisto replies. 

"Oh, Samael you know you can't keep me out," A soft voice coos from Mephisto's office chair. The sent of the Alpha overwhelms me.

He is powerful. Very powerful. My tail quivers. Who is that? Why does he have such a strong effect on me? Mephisto snarls and grabs me and pulls me away from the Alpha. 

"leave us," Mephisto snarls. 

The Alpha smirks. 

"That may work with Amaimon but that work with me," The Alpha purrs. 

Mephisto growls and pulls me closer. I push agist him. 

"Mephisto, tell me who he is," I growl. Mephisto is reluctant but follows my command. 

"He is Lucifer the king of light, the oldest brother in our family," Mephisto explains. 

"And the strongest demon king," Lucifer adds. 

"Mephisto let go of me," I sigh. Mephisto is confused by my request. 

"Why?" Mephisto asks. 

"I want to go see Lucifer," I add. Lucifer's smile grows. 

"No," Mephisto replies. 

"Now," I snarl. 

"no," Mpehsito reminds. 

I extend my claws and put them to Mephisto's throat. 

"now." 

Mephisto growls and he lets go of me. I walk over to Lucifer and I walk around him and I get used to his scent.

Mephisto doesn't like this. Lucifer catches my glance and he makes eye contact I seem to be drawn to him. 

"Rin?" Mephisto asks. 

My focus is broken and I look at Mephisto. Lucifer growls. 

"You son of a bitch," Mephisto growls at Lucifer. "You were trying to hypnotize him," Mephisto snarls. 

"What?" I ask.

"Lucifer was trying to put you in a daze so he could take you," Mephisto explains. 

This is bullshit. 

"Samael, stop acting as if you know what's best for him," Lucifer says calmly as if biting ice took over this voice. 

"Oh, so I should just let you decide instead!" Mephisto condesended. 

Lucifer grumbles in response, as his fangs peeked out from his lips. 

"I have enough of this! Neither of you knows what is best for me! I never should have come to you for help!" I yelp. 

I leave the office and start walking through the halls trying to find the exit. I am going back to the church.

I don't need to deal with this. I hear footsteps rush after me. I get frustrated and I start walking faster. 

"Rin!" Mephisto shouts. I start running. I don't want to deal with this. And I won't deal with it. There is snarling and a crash from behind me but I keep running.

I get close to the entrance of the mansion then I hear footsteps from behind me. I speed up even though I feel like passing out. 

"Rin, don't go outside!" Mephisto shouts. 

"Rin, go outside! Once he is out of your charm field he will be mine," Lucifer purrs. 

I stop then I turn around to face them. 

"I am not an object! I can make my own decisions! and I am not either of yours! I am my own being. and I am deciding to leave so don't come after me because I won't come with you," I snarl.

They both turned and stopped running after me. Blue flames wrap around me and my setting changes. I look around. I am at the church.

Did. Did I do that? Did I teleport all on my own? I smile. I teleported! A few of the churchmen are shocked by the sudden appearance but then they smile. 

"Rin?" Izumi asks. They walk over and hug me. 

"It's been so long,"  Maruta says happily. 

"So how long are you staying?" Izumi asks. 

"I don't really know. I just need some space so I decide to stay here if that ok with you," I reply.

"Of course!" Maruta replies. Izumi walks away and shouts up the stairs. 

"Hey, everyone Rin's back!"

Everyone comes down the stairs and they smile when they see me. 

"Rin!" They say in unison. I smile and wave. 

"Finally, we are going to get some good food!" Kyodo sighs. 

"hey!" Maruta says offended. 

"so are you ok with cooking while you are here?" Nagatomo asks. 

"Of course," I reply. Everyone cheers.
