"There is a saying here in Neverland, that every time you breathe an adult dies" He told her with a dark gleam in his eye. Annabelle wrinkled her nose
"Oh, delightful"

Annabelle walked side by side with the new boy, dropped off close to the time she arrived back. She kept her hood up as she lead the new recruit to where she knew the camp should be. Just as they started walking through the darker part of the Jungle, an arrow came wizzing towards them, directly at the new boys chest.
Right as it was about to penetrate his skin, Annabelle caught it, holding it steady as he stumbled back, clutching a hand to his chest and breathing heavily.
Annabelle held the arrow to eye level, examining it with a small smirk.
"Nightshade tip" She stated calmly, pulling off her hood "Really, nice to see you too, Felix"
The tall Lost Boy emerged from the foliage, smiling crookedly at the girl.
"I thought it was you" Felix replied, his voice low though his eyes glinted playfully.
"And if it wasn't?" Annabelle scoffed "you would've just killed someone" she pointed out and the taller lost boy shrugged in response.
"Didn't think I'd ever see you again, Gympie" He told her quietly as the girl slunk over to give him a hug, which he accepted.

"You know they've had a peanut butter named after you since, like, the Great Depression" Annabelle told him nonchalantly as she picked at the flower in hand, breaking the silence between them.

•"You know, it gets lonely here. The only people I see are the children that visit in their dreams, but they never stay"
"I'll stay" she breathed "just tell me how and I'll stay here, forever, never go back" the boy smirked
"Stay up tomorrow evening, when you hear the pipe, follow its music and I'll bring you back with me"

"I can't say it out loud, Pan has eyes and ears everywhere" The Dark One stated, giving Annabelle a pointed look
"What? You can trust me"
"No, we can't" he responded sourly, before turning back to the mermaid.
"I'm your hostage, remember, I can't do anything" she muttered distastefully
"If you think we didn't notice you disappearing from your bonds-"
"Oh so you did notice" Annabelle exclaimed, sounding relieved "ok good, I was worrying about you guys there for a moment"

"Someone's leaving" Pan told Felix, inhaling sharply, Annabelle stood in the forest behind them, watching Pan. She knew he got some sort of pain in his chest, like he was being stabbed, making it hard to breathe every time someone did, which was why people didn't often. It was the cost of being connected to the island
"Should we stop them?" Felix asked, Pan was about to reply but Annabelle cut him off, stepping out of her place
"Don't bother, it was a mermaid" she informed, coming to sit on the log with them "your dear old son sent her, Peter. She's going to Storeybrook, with a little message for his lover. Wish I could tell you what it is but dear ol' Rumple sent the message in a sand dollar, enchanted no doubt" she paused, looking directly at Pan who was staring back at her, his usual sour expression in play "I'd say it's time to contact your little pets in Storeybrook, tell them to watch over that, they're trying to stop you"
