Chapter 3- Of Course I'm On There Team

Coal's POV:

I am currently sitting in Ozpin's office with Goodwitch watching over me. On a screen on the desk the wizard himself announcing the last team. Team RWBY, a team consisting of the girls who kept me awake on the first night. The feed then cuts out leaving me and Goodwitch in silence. Awhile later Ozpin walks into his office.

Ozpin: Hello Mr. Vermillion.

Coal: Greetings Headmaster. Why did you have Mrs. Goodwitch bring me here? I was expecting to be escorted off school grounds.

Ozpin: I see a lot of potential in you. What is your semblance.

Coal: I call it the void, though if I'm being honest I don't know what it is.

Ozpin: Is that so, explain it to me.

Coal: Well I know I can summon black energy and use it in different ways. The ways I've found to use the energy is launching it as balls, binding adversaries, and creating barriers. But I have also found that building the energy with in me makes it more powerful.

Ozpin: Interesting. I have decided, you are going to stay in my school and join one of the teams that just formed. Mrs. Goodwitch will you inform the team. Mr. Vermillion you should be getting your team's room number to your scroll any moment now.

Coal: Thank you for this chance headmaster.

Ozpin: No need for thanks the world needs people like you. Now go, meet your new team.

Coal: As you wish. (Walks to elevator) Goodbye headmaster have a great day. (Smiles)

Ozpin: You too Mr. Vermillion.

I walk in to the elevator and lean against the wall. Great now Ozpin will be keeping a closer eye on me. This will make things more difficult.

Ozpin's POV:

Ozpin: With Mr. Vermillion and Mrs. Rose it's far more likely we will win this.

Glynda: Your really putting Mr. Vermillion on Mrs. Rose's team, a team of all female might I add.

Ozpin: I believe he will work well with them. Besides if anything happens we can always expel him.

Glynda: And what about how team RWBY feels about this.

Ozpin: Did you not tell them who there new teammate is.

Glynda: I did.

Ozpin: Then we have to wait and see.

Coal's POV:

I walk up to the door and knock a couple times. The door opened, standing there is one of the girls that kept me up the first night. Now that I get a better look at her she looks exactly like the girl that Roman described stoping him.

Red: (Eyes filled with wonder) So your our new teammate.

Coal: (Walks in) Hello, my name's Coal Vermillion.

Ruby: I'm Ruby Rose leader of team RWBY.

Yang: My names Yang Xiao Long.

Blake: I'm Blake Belladonna.

Weiss: I am Weiss Schnee.

Coal: It's a pleasure to meet you all.

Weiss: Now that we've introduced ourselves it's time to set some rules.

Coal: Of course, a guy living with four girls is a recipe for disaster. You four can take the beds I have a hammock I can set up.

Blake: Do you always have a hammock with you?

Coal: Yes, I've been wondering Remnant for some time now. As for some rules I say knocking is a very crucial one. You can change in the room, I'll change in the bathroom.... Oh and you should know I sleep without a shirt on. I find it very uncomfortable.

Weiss: (Blushing) What?!

Yang: Oh I'd love to see that. (Winks)

Coal: Do me a favor Yang and stop with the flirting. I already have a girl and I don't need another one.

Yang: You have a girlfriend?

Coal: Yep. Remember how I said I've been wondering. Well I was in Mistral applying to Haven with my girl, she got in I didn't now I'm here.

Ruby: You two are a long ways apart.

Coal: We're still in touch we've already made plans for when she gets here for the Vytal Festival.

Weiss: That's still a long time away.

Coal: True.

Ruby: Where else have you been?

Coal: Every where really and my girl been with me through most of it.
