Exploring Atlantis

(Sonic's POV)

The next day is the day I get to see Atlantis by being a merhog like her. I wonder what it's really like to have a merman tail. The way I met her she was really a fast swimmer.

"It's very early in the morning, Sonic" Tails said with a yawn.

"I know but she'll be here. I know you guys are bored to guard my ship but we can't let Fiona steal it. The cops are useless and they don't even give her a restraining order or whatever" I said.

"I don't blame you Sonic. I really too am fed up with her" Tails said.

"That's why we have Blaze to do the job. Like a supervision but still a cat burglar" I said.

"Alright good. So you're really gonna see Atlantis? I wish I could come see it" Silver said.

"I'll be back soon when i'm back with my legs. But please, we cannot let the world know or it's war between two worlds" I said.

"You can count on us" Tails salutes.

I waited and I see something moving in the water. It's got be her.

And very right it was her, "Hi angel fish"

"Hi Sonic. Are you ready?" Amy held out the pearl.

"I was born ready. See you guys later" I said and jumped in the water.

"See ya, captain" Tails said.

"Okay, so all I have to do is wish?" I asked Amy as she gave me the pearl.

"Yes, get ready for it" Amy said.

I took the pearl and said, "I wish to be a merhog!" I felt my legs getting chills from the swirl like a tornado on my legs and it transformed my legs into a blue fish tail, "Wow, it works!" I waved my fish tail.

"Yeah, but I have warn ya, swimming like mermaids is a lot different than swimming with legs" Amy said.

"Ok. I'll be careful" I keep trying to swim like her, "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!" I uncontrollably swam too fast.

"Relax Sonic, just try like I do" Amy swam before me and she just moved her tail side by side.

"I'm relieved to breathe underwater but swimming like a merman is so.....different and uncontrollable" I said as I tried to swim exactly like her but unable to control the speed.

"WHOOOOAAAA!!! OMPH!" I crashed into the sand sea bottom, "I almost had it, angel fish"

"Okay you'll get used to it" Amy said.

I spun around and accidentally bumped into her. From the way I bumped into her, we landed on the bottom and I'm top of her, "Uhhhh.....sorry" I rolled to the side, "Man, are your people fast with these things?"

"Yeah we are. Now be careful" Amy said and took my hand again swimming deeper into the ocean.

What's really amazing is that I don't feel my ears going deaf from the pressure or my body feeling cold. Am I having gills as well? I don't see any on Amy. Well, she was able to breathe air when we first met. So perhaps her people can breathe both.

She took me to the old city of Atlantis and we went deep down to where she's taking me to some kind of entrance in the old city.

"Are we there yet?" I asked.

"Soon Sonic, soon" Amy said.

From what I see, the deeper we go, the more I see bioluminescence corals. I never seen anything like this. But it does bring beautiful effects like the movie James Cameron Avatar.
