Grandpa's Death

(Sonic's POV)

Today I gave her a tour of the village again so that she can understand my world more. And that she's getting the hang of walking with legs. We arrived to the market place, where Amy spotted a puppet play about two jester's fighting, she grabbed one.

"Hey!" the puppeteer exclaims so she let go of it.

"Look at this" Amy pulled me over to a place where people were dancing.

We waltzed with each other and I spun Amy and dipped her pulling her close before continuing.

Then we rented a horse with cart to ride with, I was holding the reins while Amy had some bread and flowers in her arms.

"Wanna try out?" I handed the reins to her.

"Sure" She handed me the bread and flowers. She hits the reins hard but it went too fast.

"WOOOOOAAAAH!!!" I screamed.

I saw we were near the edge of the cliff and I freaked out. But luckily, we landed safely on the other side. I looked up and then at Amy seeing we're safe.

"Hitting the reins on a horse makes them go fast but that very impressive" I said.

"It's the first time I ride those creatures" Amy said.

"I'm glad you did. Back in old history we had horses for rides but now we have cars and other transportation" I said.

Later, I took her to a sea food restaurant to have lunch together. I made sure she likes something vegetarian.

"We'll look at the vegetarian menu" I gave her the menu.

"What's this tofu?" She asked.

"It's like a cuisine I believe and vegetarians like those" I said.

"Okay" Amy said as the waiter came to us.

"You two ready to order?"

"Well I haven't decided yet" I said.

But then I picked the salmon on the menu, "Um, I'll have the salmon and she'll have tofu" I said.

"Okay then. In the meantime, I'll come with some water" The waiter said.

The waiter wrote down our orders and left to get the orders.

"Your kind doesn't eat fish alive, right?" Amy asked me.

"Nope. We don't. But it's good for the intelligence" I said.

"Thank Poseidon" She whispered to herself.

"That he gave us fish to feed on? Well it's a good thing" I chuckled.

Soon we got our orders and I chowed down on my salmon meat. I looked at her to see that she's very curious with her tofu.

She picks a piece from it with the fork and sniffs a bit on it before tasting it. Her reaction was priceless and I can tell that she likes it.

"Mmmmm delicious" She said.

"Glad you like it, Amy" I smiled at her.

A while later after lunch, I brought her to my ship to take a tour of the ocean. I commanded Silver to steer my ship so that Amy and I can look at the view. I just hope she doesn't get seasickness.

My brother Manic could not handle being on ships easily and he gets seasick. What can I say, he became much more greener in the face than his fur.

Amy and I saw a few dolphins jumping in and out of the water.
