Sunken Ships

(Sonic's POV)

The beauty of her vocalizing voice just made me feel.....tranced. It even made some of the fish swim up to her. Like Snow White's singing voice attracting forest animals. Only this attracted sea animals this time.

I feel like she casted a spell on me. Like a love curse on a pirate, "So pretty" I sigh in love.

Her voice even attracted sharks?! I just hope they don't eat her!

"Angel fish, sharks are gonna attack you, aren't they?" I was getting anxious because I don't trust sharks.

"Relax Sonic. I got them under control now" Amy said.

"If you say so" I gently patted one of the sharks, "If they show their ugly side, I'll punch one" I said.

"Very charming for a pirate" Amy rolled her eyes.

"Anything for a merhog" I held her hands.

"You pirates are always clumsy when you act so tough" Amy smiled.

"Heh, runs in the family" I joked.

The sea animals swim away from us. I swam around in the open sea with her. Swimming with gear to breathe underwater was a lot difficult when danger lurks anywhere to drown me.

"Well, now that the trident of Poseidon is safe, we don't have to worry about the danger of the seas" I said.

"Your grandpa would be proud" Amy said.

"And my ancestor too" I said.

Soon, Amy brought me to a cave filled with stuff made from my world. I guess she has been studying these treasures to understand life on land.

"I collect treasure just like your kind does. My father thinks that land people are savages and they hunt fish for food and capture bigger animals to cook them. I never believed him" I said.

"You did? And what else did he do?" I asked.

"He forbids me to go to the surface" Amy said.

"Parents can be very hard on children. They do that to protect them. My father once told me to not go deep underwater when I was a kid but I never listened. I guess we have something in common" I said.

"I guess so. But children choose their own interests to be free" Amy said.

"Yeah, and I see you collected stuff from sunken ships as your research" I said, looking at the view of human stuff.

"Yeah. I found this" Amy held out some items.

"Ah, those a jewelry. Women on land wear them for fashion" I said.

Amy puts on a golden necklace, "How do I look in them?"

"You look great Amy" I said.

"Thanks. And what's this for?" She showed me a jewelry ring.

"Oh, it's a wedding ring" I said.

"A ring?" Amy was very confused.

"Rings are jewelry and my people wear it on their middle or ring finger" I said and I helped her put it on her ring finger.

"It's beautiful Sonic" Amy smiled.

"Indeed. I see your treasure has stuff from the 1400s to today. And I guess you need a person that knows these things on land" I said.

"Yeah, that's why I brought you here. Oh, this I don't know what it is. Do you know?" Amy showed me a pocket watch.

"That's a pocket watch. Somewhere in the 1700s I think, men use these to tell time" I said.
