Oh Sweet Revenge?

Kanji's P.O.V.

After the ceremony ended my mother and I walked around greeting parents and former students. It's my family's job to attend all ceremony's and congratulate everyone. Everyone includes the demons and their families. Some may think that's not bad but one small problem....

My mom hates them with a passion and refuses to approach the families of the demons and do her duty.

So, I'm the one who has to fill in for her.

Although I don't want to cause I've never spoken to a demon before...I have no choice it's our job.

Then again it would be a great distraction from seeing that boy and his creepy eyed brother. I still feel a chill down my spine when I think of his brother Aidens stare. His brother was a mystery though. His smile made me feel happy it was a comforting kind of smile. One that made you feel secure. I don't know what, but something is telling me to talk to him. Befriend him. Get to know him.

'Ah this is so frustrating. I don't have time for this I have a job to do. Alright let's get this over with.'

(1 Hour Later)

'It isn't as bad as I expected it to be... All the demons are actually really nice, caring, and friendly.'

The night was going a whole lot better than expected. Here and there you heard yelling from the students from demon students  but other than that it was smooth sailings.

"Hey, Ms. Top of the class!"

I turn to see my best friend Mira smiling widely. She walks over to me with confident strides. The men all looked at her while practically drooling.

"Be careful Mira you might give someone a heart attack."

"Oh, that will be a good day indeed, no? Afterall a lot of these men are MARRIED OR ENGAGED!"

She made sure to say it loud enough so that they heard. They all turned away acting as if they weren't ogling her. I giggled and hugged her. She was a spitfire and I loved it. The only mix of Angel and Demon allowed to be amongst us. Of course, mother didn't like her so much, but I begged her to let me continue to be friends with her.

"It never fails to surprise me how you get them to fold like that."

"Hun it's not that hard if your me. Besides you'd have them in the palm of your hands if your mother didn't force you to dress like that! Ms. Goody two shoes~"

She gave a fake bow and giggle a bit. I joined her and also laughed. What she said was slightly true. I was written off as a Ms. goody two shoes because of a lot of stuff my mother made me do. But things will change now since I'm leaving home soon.

"Ms. Garcia is a bit too much! I mean come on! Your officially an adult and she makes you wear clothes that our former underclassmen would wear!"

"She just wants me to set an example. Mira I'm student council president and I'm the school's representative. You know appearance's matter!"

"Girl I'm your right hand and student council assistant president. I dress like this, and no one complains!"

She motioned down towards her high ponytail and pink crop top with a cute purple and pink hello kitty on the front. Matched with pink bell bottoms and pink heels. May I just add she loves the color pink a whole lot. I sighed and looked at her smirking.

"Listen I move out soon anyways so then you can help me with my newer fashion!"

"Babes the fashion you love is more sophisticated than I can handle."
