Jace always pranked Alec. April fools day was his favourite day because he could embarrass or just annoy Alec. Alec had never been able to get him back but this year he had the high warlock of brooklyn on his side. Him and Magnus had been working on their ideas for months and they were ready to see the destruction they would cause.
Alec walked into the institute with a huge smile on his face and then quickly remembered that he must not give anything away so he thought of Clary and his face went straight back to grumpy. Jace ran up to him and punched him in the arm "Hey Alec, you ready to get pranked?" "You do know you arent meant to tell a person that you're pranking them." "Oh well, I'm gonna get you anyway." "Yeah, sure. Bye Jace." "Bye." Oh poor Jace, he had no idea what was coming.
Jace was about to enter his bedroom to get the supplies for Alec's first prank when he heard something. A quack. Silly Alec. He really thinks he can get me with a duck in my room. He'll have to try harder than that. Jace used his stele to open a one-way window and saw one duck. Wow. Alec didn't even try. Only one duck. He opened his door, he could deal with one duck. "AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!" The whole room was covered in ducks of all shapes and sizes. He backed out of the room, shut the door and took three deep breaths. He heard his phone and opened it to find a text message from Alec.
