"No!" A shrill girls voice crys out. "I don't want to! where is my Daddy!" The girl stomps throwing Teddy harshy against the wall. He suppresses a groan as he feels his seams ripping apart yet again. "But Lady Henrietta, it is time for your music lessons. Your father had to run some errands." The maid frantically tries calming her Lady down. With another ear piercing shriek the young girl stomps out, her maid quickly following leaving behind the demolished room. "Ugh.." Teddy groans from the floor, careful to not rip his seams further. "That insufferable brat.." He grumbles waiting Ms. Rosemary's return so he can be sewed back up during the short lived peace. As he waits he starts to wonder. "When will the one I'm supposed to protect arrive." Scoffing he says.  "Its been almost a century,  how much more torture must I go through here.." He  thinks back to the memory oh so long ago...

Flashback to early 1600's.

A strange cloaked man stands there,  Teddy towering over him at eleven feet. "Who are you, why am I here?" Teddy growls at the stranger,  with a wave of his gloved hand the man answers. "Patience,  patience. I have have simply called you here to tell you of your lives quest as..a teddy bear." The man chuckles as Teddy scowls. "What are you talking about." Glimpsing a sharp toothed smile painted red. The stranger starts to walk into the darkness, forcing Teddy to follow.  "Some decades from now,  someone will come to you, like you they will be alive, and far more then a mere children's toy.." Teddy looks towards the man in question as they come to a halt.  "How do yo-" Raising his hand,  the stranger cuts off his speech. "There is more Teddy. She will be small, a fragile beauty of porcelain,  hair kissed by the sun, eyes enchanted by ocean mists and the very stars above. Her beauty as frail as a white rose, filled with purity. She will steal something of yours, and it is your duty to keep her safe as her protector through the ages. She is waiting for you, be patient for her Teddy. Good bye."

Present time 1706. England.

Shaking his head with a huff Teddy resigns himself to waiting. "That strange man and his riddles.." He mutters.
