One year later

It was the middle of the afternoon and the boys were currently sprawled out on their bed, bored out of their minds.

"Jeno, I'm bored," Jaemin complained, turning over and landing on Jeno's chest. Jeno just hummed, too focused on his phone game.

"Jenooo," Jaemin made a pouty face and squished the other boy's cheek to get his attention.

Jeno finally gave in and put his phone down. "What?" He asked, annoyed because he lost the level.

"Let's go on a date."

After Jaemin practically dragged Jeno out of bed, he finally agreed to go out.

They ended up at the park which seemed to be their favourite place. They walked together, hand in hand until it was dark.

"Look, the stars are out!" Jaemin exclaimed, Jeno smiling at the sight. They ran to the top of a small hill and sat on the grass to get a better view.

All the stars in the sky but the only one I see is right in front of my eyes.

Jaemin stopped looking up for a second and looked back at Jeno.

"Jeno don't start with those cheesy lines, I know what you're thinking."

"Shut up, you know you love it," Jeno giggled at how the boy knew exactly what he was thinking.

Jaemin just pouted and Jeno smirked, knowing he had won.

He then proceeding to pull Jaemin onto his lap to face him, pressing their foreheads together.

"You know you're greatest star of them all," Jeno proceeded to be as cheesy as possible.

"You know, I'm gonna throw up if you keep saying things like that," Jaemin teased but he secretly enjoyed it.

"I love you," Jeno whispered, so only Jaemin could hear him.

"Why are you being so sentimental all of a sudden?" Jaemin asked, bringing his hands up to his face to hide his flustered state.

Then after a moment of silence, Jaemin spoke again softly, "I love you too."

And Jeno brought their lips together, enjoying every second of the moment. He couldn't escape the plethora of feelings that would always erupt as they shared that one act. He rested his arms around Jaemin's waist, holding him as close as possible.

Once things started to escalate, they broke away with a tug at the lips, gasping for air.

"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

The rest of the night they stayed in each other's arms, watching the stars of the world above.
