As I enter the shop, I saw Taehyung sitting with someone. I thought it was just a friend but I noticed that it was an evil spirit. I overheard their conversation, I approached him and hit the back of his head. "Snap out of it, he's lying"
I called in the name of the grim reaper but the guy escaped. "What are you doing?! I would've met my sister and put this into an end!"
"Don't call me to mess around, I'm a busy guy." Said the grim reaper, he then disappeared.
I sat in front of Taehyung. I saw the sorrow in his face. "I know that you're desperate to find your sister but you shouldn't fall easily to an evil spirit like him. He can destroy you."
"You're right." He said. He ruffled his hair in frustration, his hopes went high. "Why didn't you tell me about this?" I asked. He looked up to me and went closer to my face. "We will be in trouble." He responds. "We're not supposed to let someone know about this. The spirit realms secret shall be kept as promised but I knew you're one of us since I saw you talked to one."
"How long have you been going through this?" I asked. "It's been almost 2 years." he answered. "what? wouldn't that mean your sister is probably already taken by the grim reaper?"
"This whole thing is really confusing, to be honest, but anyway no she's not taken yet and is still wandering around earth. you'll only lose this ability and end things with the spirit realm once the person you lost in the first place has been taken by you or the grim reaper. This only happens to some special relationships. Well, I don't know I told you it's really confusing."
My eyes widened because I realized something, I gasped and said. "Do you then think Kun is alive..?"
"You're husband? well yeah isn't it obvious I thought you knew."
I went quite. Maybe that answers why Soobin is acting really suspicious? why he had so much in common with Kun? it's either his really Kun or Soobin.
But, why would Kun hide from me and disguise himself as another person? I checked my watch and noticed that lunchtime was almost over. "Tae, let's go lunchtime is almost over."
We both were back at the office. Time passed and I noticed how Taehyung seems to be bothered by something. I asked him what's wrong but he didn't say anything and just ignored me.
I kept thinking about what Tae said. Kun is still here somewhere wondering I just can't find him and he can't find me?!
It was already 12 in the morning. I got up to place one of my files but then Taehyung called out for me.
"Sana, do you think the guy was really telling the truth?" He asked. I looked up to him and I can see how desperate he was. He really wants too see his sister again and send her to where she belongs to that she can rest in peace. I went up to him and sat next to him, I grabbed both of his hands and clasped them together. I looked into his eyes and said, "Taehyung, I know how much you want to see her. I understand that, but you shouldn't fall for an evil spirit like him. He's just taking advantage of you. He wants to take over your body so that he can do harm to people or whatever! You'll never know what he does"
Taehyung glared at me which made me a bit scared. "How do you know if he's lying? What if he knows where my sister really is? What if he only wants to take over my body to do something else and not anything cruel? How do you know?" He argued.
He pushed me away, grabbed his stuff and went out. I was started to get concerned because of him. He shouldn't be acting gullible. He might get himself killed.
I was on night shift so I went back to my desk and continued with my presentation.
Taehyung's POV
I went out to the same cafe shop I met the guy. I saw that it was closed but I waited outside of the shop and looked around to see if there are any signs of the guy.
I breathe in and out and finally, without hesitating I said, "let's trade"
He came out of the shop and gave me a slight smirk. "You can only use me for a day, and once you're over you will help me find my sister." I said. "Why not young man?" he smirked. "before anything else, I'd like you to agree on something. Don't act suspicious and just act like me, you have no right to harm anyone other than me. Okay?"
He nodded. I then closed my eyes and I felt a sudden rush inside me.
