Chapter 16: Doubt Comes In/Epilogue

Half this chapter will be in Third Person.

Darkness, that was all Jack and Elsa could see, Elsa could barely see Jack in front of her but she knew he was still there. "It's pretty dark in here huh?" She says but Jack didn't respond or react like he heard her. She sighs, "Of course, you can't hear me, I wonder..." She says out loud as she reaches her hand out and touches Jack's back but again, no reacting. "Great." She huffs crossing her arms, she didn't like this. She didn't know what Lucifer's plan was, or if it was even Lucifer's plan anymore, to her, it was more for Death then for him.

Elsa started to look around more, the more she looked, the more she notice faces looking at her. But all the faces had no eyes. "Fates... What are they doing here?" She ask herself. The Fates worked with Death, they loved to manipulate people to make them stay or to even kill themself, that's why they work with Death. Elsa watched closely as one of the Fates pushes itself off the wall and moved towards Jack. "Hey! Leave him alone!" Elsa yells making the Fate look at her and smile, "He can't hear you..." It says as it turns to Jack wrapping it's arms around his neck,

"But he can hear me."

Jack keep walking forward he thought Elsa was being very quite, he couldn't even hear her footsteps behind him. She's behind me... She why  wouldn't she be? He thought and shook his head as he felt an almost pressure on his shoulders. Doubt comes in. He heard in his head making him grab the side of his head. "Elsa is that you?" He ask. "Jack it's not me! Please hear me!" Elsa screams making the Fate laugh and moves it's lips back to Jack's ear. Jack felt a shiver go down his spine. "Snake! Leave him be! Jack, please hear my voice, please." Elsa bags.

Doubt comes in, it's wrapping it's web around your brain, makes you rethink. Jack heard, "Who am I? Where do I think I'm going?" Jack asked himself making Elsa look at Fate as it smiles. Who are you? Why are you alone? Fate ask Jack making him stop making Elsa stop. "No Jack.. Don't stop keep going!" She screams but she knew that snake had it's teeth in his neck. "I'm not alone... Elsa is behind me." Jack answers making Elsa smile, "Yes I am, I'm here!" She says. Are you sure? Fate ask making Jack start to rethink, to doubt.

"She... She has to be." What would you give her? She was an angel, you took that from her. Fate hissed making Jack grab his head, "I did... I took that from her... Who am I to think that she would follow me in the cold and dark..." Jack questioned. Where is she? Where is she now? Fate said as another one joined it. Elsa was starting to get worried she knew Jack was strong but the Fates were stronger. "Jack, listen to me, I'm right here." She says as tears start to go in her eyes. We are all right here. Elsa heard along with Jack as his head shot up, "That voice..." He says. Elsa didn't know whose voice that was but Jack heard it.

She turned back to Jack's back, "And I will be to the end." Elsa says but Jack shook his head, "There are... to many voices..." He whispered. "I know my love but please... Hear my voice, any other voice but the Fates, don't listen to them!" Who are you? Why would he let you win? To let the girl go with you? The Fates whispers, Jack dropped his hands, "Who am I to think that he wouldn't deceive me just to make me leave alone?" Jack says as he felt his feet start to move, to turns around. "No! Jackson please don't turn around!" Elsa screams. Doubt comes in... And now it is time for it to end.

Elsa felt tears go down her face, "Jackson, you're not alone. I am right behind you." She cries. We are all right behind you. She hears the voice say making him stop. Elsa didn't know why but suddenly, she felt like someone was touching her shoulder, to make her keep talking. "And I have been all along, no matter the darkest hour or the darkest nights, I will always be there."  Elsa said along with the voice. Jack could almost hear her, he could almost hear Elsa. "Elsa... You're still here..." He says making her laugh, "Yes. I didn't go anywhere." She says as he turns back around facing forward.
