Chapter 34 _ No Quiero Ser Ella

Midway through December Juliana asked Valentina to help her decorate her apartment for Christmas, she wanted to go all out. They had finished finals a few days prior and now had an entire month of break ahead. Juliana's 2nd semester had been much easier than the first and it ended with great news. There would be a competition for the following semester open to the whole school to showcase their work and the top 3 designs would get a cash prize and their pieces would be featured in a local fashion magazine. They would have all semester to work on their entries to the competition and were told ahead of time so they could get started over winter break if they chose to do so.

Juliana wasn't sure what to do yet but it was her first Sunday off since break began and she wanted to take full advance of it. That same morning she went to church with her parents and together they went to find the perfect Christmas tree for Juliana's apartment. After finding a cute little pine tree, her father tied it to his truck and drove it to her apartment making sure to place it where she asked.

As Juliana's parents were leaving Valentina was getting dropped off. The three of them exchanged greetings before she entered Juliana's apartment with bags filled of decorations.

"Hi baby!" Juliana said running to her girlfriend engulfing her in a hug.

"Someone is jolly today?" Valentina said closing the door with her foot.

Juliana giggled, "It's Christmas time." She said helping Valentina with the bags, "It's mandatory to be jolly. Santa's orders." She said with a wink.

"Santa's order's huh?" Valentina said with a playful smirk, "What else does Santa order?"

"To turn on the Christmas music and get to work young lady." Juliana said laughing.

As Valentina put on their Christmas playlist they had worked on together, Juliana unpacked everything she bought to decorate the tree along with the bags Valentina brought. They spent the rest of the afternoon decorating. Valentina had never seen Juliana so carefree and it was a side of her she was hoping to see more of in the future.

Around 4pm Valentina let herself fall onto the couch. "I think we're done babe." She said looking at Juliana who was putting the finishing touches on her tree.

"I think I agree." Juliana said standing back to take a look at her tree and the rest of the living room, content with their work.

"Ven, chiquita, I'm cold." Valentina said opening her arms. Juliana smiled and laid on top of Valentina on the couch and snuggled into her.

Valentina instinctively wrapped her arms around Juliana and inhaled her scent. They stayed in serene silence simply enjoying being in each others arms.

Juliana sat up straddling Valentina hips as she looked down at Valentina with a cheeky smile.

"God, I could kiss you right now." Valentina said taking in the view.

"Then why don't you?" Juliana asked in a playful tone.

Valentina smirked before responding, "I have to check with Santa, gotta see if you've been a good girl this year."

Thinking that two could play at that game Juliana quoted a line from one of Camila's songs, "I swear on my life that I've been a good girl." Pausing she leaned down near Valentina's ear, causing the girl under her to get goosebumps all over, and whispered, "tonight I don't wanna be her." She finished biting Valentina's ear seductively before sitting back up and biting her lip.

Valentina opened her eyes widely at that statement not expecting Juliana to be in that type of mood. She gulped but refused to break eye contact. She loved when Juliana took control and initiated things.

"What do you say?" Juliana said with a smirk and a raise of her right eyebrow enjoying how flustered the girl under her looked.

Valentina had no words to respond so she used her actions instead. She wrapped her arms around Juliana as she brought herself to a sitting position. After making sure Juliana wouldn't fall she brought her body closer, enough to kiss the girl on top of her. In between kisses she helped Juliana take off her t-shirt.

"Let's go to the room, yeah?" Juliana said in between kisses. Receiving a nod from her girlfriend she led the way to her bedroom.

Once inside Valentina began to lift her shirt only to be stopped by Juliana. "Let me." The girl kissing her shoulder said.

Juliana lifted the t-shirt slowly. Once it was off she left more kisses along Valentina's shoulders and neck before unclipping the girl's bra. Valentina let the garment slide right off her shoulders onto the ground. She turned around to be facing Juliana and kissed her hungrily bringing her hands to the other girl's hair, kissing her like her life depended on it.

Valentina had enough of letting Juliana lead, she needed her now. She led their bodies to the bed and wasted no time taking off Juliana's jeans. Before she could go any further Juliana nodded before flipping them over as she straddled the girl beneath her and grabbed her hands bringing them above her head."Let me take care of you." Juliana said before leaning down and kissing Valentina. A kiss that didn't last long.

Juliana began tracing a trail of open mouth kisses down Valentina's torso until she reached her girlfriend's jeans. Deciding to tease Valentina she took her time unbuttoning the piece of clothing. When Valentina gave her a menacing look, Juliana simply winked at the older girl. Once the jeans were finally off she began to kiss Valentina up the length of her left leg.

Valentina, needing more, felt tortured in the moment by how long her legs seemed. Juliana knowing her actions were riling the girl up, began drawing circles on the opposite thigh moving closer but never quite to where Valentina wanted her. As her trail of kisses reached Valentina's upper thigh she moved to give Valentina's clothed center a gentile kiss, before pulling back with a smile.

Her teasing didn't last much longer before she gave Valentina everything she wanted. They spent the rest of the evening in bed showing each other how much they loved one another until they eventually drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.

A/N: Next chapter is another bit of a time jump and probably twice as long as this one, it's Val's birthday. I'll work on it tonight and probably upload it tomorrow morning.
