My neighbor Luke hemmings (on hold)

Chapter 18

It was getting darker and I was still lost then I remembered that I have my phone in my pocket. I quickly reached for my phone and saw that I had 16 missed calls from Luke I sighed and dialed Ashtons number.

I called Ashton and he told me that there was a gas station near by so I walked towards the direction of the gas station and finally spotted the gas station from all the lights.

I walked towards the bench and sat down in front of the gas station while I waited for Ashton to come pick me up. The gas station was completely empty and there was no one here, I looked up and saw the stars that were appearing in the sky I looked down and shut my eyes, reminding myself that Ashton was coming to get me.

When I heard a car my eyes shot open and I quickly stood up I looked towards the direction of the car and saw it park in front of the gas station.

I speed walked towards the car but quickly stopped when I saw two men come out of the car. Both of their body's were filled with tattoos and piercings. I started taking small steps back when they started walking towards me . 

I turned my head to see them running after me, my eyes widened as I started running . 

I screamed when I felt two arms wrap around my waist and pull me back.

"Please let me go!" I yelled trying to release myself

"Diana it's okay it's me" I relaxed when I heard the familiar voice, I turned my head and wrapped my arms around Ashton.

I looked over to the gas station from where the men were chasing me. My eyes widened at the sight

Luke was beating the man while the other layed on the floor unconscious.

"come on" Ashton said quietly leading me to the car. I sat down in the backseat and looked back at Ashton who was looking at me from outside through the car window.

"I'm gonna go get Luke" Ashton said looking at me. I nodded and shut my eyes as Ashton walked off.

Ashton came back with Luke and they both sat in the front . Luke took a quick glance at me and I watched as his eyes soften.

"you okay?" Ashton asked starting the car and looking back at me , I quickly nodded my head and shut my eyes drifting off to sleep.

Lukes p.o.v

I looked out the window of the car watching all the trees pass by. I wondered what could have happened if we hadn't come at the right time.

The thought made me cringe so I shut my eyes but flashbacks of Diana's tear stained face came into my mind.

I had to tell Diana that I wasn't cheating as soon as possible or else she probably won't talk to me again.

I was too busy with my thoughts that I hadn't realized the car had stopped right in front of my house.

"Luke" I was interrupted with my thoughts by Ashton slightly shaking my shoulder.

"Hey it will all be okay you just need to tell Diana what really happened"

I slightly smiled then looked at the backseat to see Diana sleeping peacefully. I smiled at the thought of holding Diana in my arms again.

I thanked Ashton and exited the car. I opened the backseat door and gently picked up Diana.

I carried Diana in my arms and headed upstairs to my room. I gently layed her down on my bed and softly kissed her cheek before laying down on my bed with Diana and pulling the blanket over us.

I pulled a strand of her hair out of her face and wrapped my arm around her waist, forgetting about all the things that had happened today.
