Chapter 14

I felt myself sinking deep in the water. I shut my eyes getting ready for what was about to happen.As I shut my eyes I felt two arms wrap securely around me and pull me up and out of the water. I took in a deep breath and felt myself being lifted and out of the water. I shut my eyes thinking of what would have happened if this person hadn't saved me.

I opened my eyes to be met with worried blue ones "Luke ?" I looked at my surroundings and found that I was in my room. Luke put his hand on my cheek and looked at me in the eyes.

"Diana w-why wo-uld you do that ?" he asked looking at me "I can't lose you" he whispered and hugged me while we both laid in my bed

me and Luke had been watching movies all night trying to forget about what happened but we had accidentally fallen asleep. I fluttered my eyes open and saw Luke fast asleep next to me while his arms were wrapped around me

I looked at my phone and saw that I had a text from Ashton I sighed to myself remembering the last time I saw him. I read the text anyway and thought about it

Ashton:hey Diana we need to talk, come over at my place at 1:00

I groaned quietly and shook Luke "Luke wake up" to my surprise Luke woke up quickly. He smiled up at me but then saw the frown on my face "whats wrong ?" he asked looking worried "Ashton texted me and said we needed to talk" I said getting up and going to my closet "your not actually going after what he did are you?" he asked frowning

I sighed and knew that I just can't ignore Ashton "well me and Ashton would have to talk at some point" I said and reached my hand and looked through my closet. I felt two long arms wrap around me from behind and Lukes warm breaths hit my neck "why can't you just stay here with me"

"how about after I talk with Ashton me and you could have the whole day together" I said and giggled when Luke tried to tickle me from behind. I pushed Luke to the other side of the room  which was in front  of the window "I need to change and can you drive me to Ashtons" I asked and Luke nodded 

I watched as Luke hopped over to his window and entered his bathroom. I picked out a plain white top with white ripped shorts and a green jacket with brown combat boots I threw it on and walked over to my window and saw Luke laying on his bed with his phone in his hand "Luke, you ready ?" Luke nodded and walked out of his room.

Luke was quiet the whole ride and it was getting awkward. "Luke are you okay ?" I asked looking at Luke who had his eyes glued on the road ahead. "are you gonna get back together with Ashton" Luke said his eyes not meeting mine and he looked sad.

"not after what he did" I sighed and looked at Luke to see him smiling?

we finally made it to Ashtons and Luke decided to stay in the car while I talk to Ashton. I walked up to Ashtons front door and hesitated for awhile. I finally picked up the courage and knocked on his door

"hey "Ashton said opening the door "hey" 

me and Ashton were in his living room and talked about what happened. We finally went to a conclusion that we are better as friends

"so friends" Ashton said holding his hand out and smiling "friends" I said smiling back and shaking his hand

I said goodbye to Ashton and walked over to Lukes car to see him listening to the radio. I sat down and turned the radio down and turned my head to Luke. "so what happened?" Luke asked looking at me "we are now friends, so now where are we going" I asked trying to change the subject

"to the park!" Luke said with a wide smile on his face

me and Luke were sat on a bench in the park bored out of our minds "well this is fun" I said sarcastically "do you wanna play tag ?!?" Luke asked smiling at me "no"

"tag your it" Luke said poking my shoulder "Luke I said I di-" I was cut off by Luke running away like a giant penguin I laughed before I chased after Luke in the grass

I caught up to Luke and reached my hand to his shoulder "got you!" I said running away after

I ran as fast as I could and I was sure that I lost Luke I turned my head around to see him right behind me I shrieked and ran faster. I felt Lukes arms wrap around my waist and pull me to the ground

I giggled and laid on my back and pushed Luke off me he laid next to me and looked at me "caught you" 

me and Luke decided to get some ice cream and go to see a movie after

I licked my vanilla ice cream and looked over at Luke to see him with a chocolate mustache I giggled at Luke "what !?' he said smiling at me "y-you have a chocolate mustache" I said between laughs "well that's not fair for you" Luke said smiling at me I looked confused at Luke but got the idea when he took his ice cream and put it all over my face "LLLuuukkeee" I whined. I cleaned my face and handed Luke the napkin

after me and Luke were done with our ice creams we went to the movie theater and Luke decided to see a scary movie which I didn't see much of because of the multiple times I hid my face in Lukes neck

Luke parked his car and I looked over at Luke smiling at him. "thanks for today" "anytime" he said and pecked my cheek. 

I walked over to my front door and turned around to see Luke watching me I waved him goodbye and walked over to my room I jumped on my bed and looked at the ceiling smiling and thinking about today

this only made my feelings grow for him. I smiled and closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep
