Now, many of you maybe wondering "who is Ally?", and being the generous story-teller that I am, I am going to tell you all about myself. I suppose we should start with the basics.
My name is Alexandra Grey. But everyone calls me Ally.
Im 14 and a freshman in Highschool.
I'm short, about 5'4, and I fairly thin girl. My friends all call me fragile which really annoys me. I mean I'm tougher than I look!
I have blond hair that goes a bit past my shoulder, and a natural tan, even in the winter. I also have stormy grey and blue eyes. Even though I'm in Highschool now, I don't where any make-up, I think it makes girls look fake. Even so, I'm practically the only girl in the school who doesn't wear any.
I don't like to talk about myself, but as others say, I'm sweet, kind, and really responsible. The people who say this usually don't know me.
I will admit that I do have a sweet side and I can fight for my life, once I get to know people, I'm sarcastic, and a thrill seeker.
I love to read; half the time it is the only thing I'll be doing. Books can never wrong me while people can leave scars. Wow, that was deep. I'm proud of myself! But don't get me wrong! I love my friends and family, just not people in general. Crowded cities? Forget it. A farm in Montana surrounded by nothingness? Now we're talking!
Even though I hate to admit it, there are some things that get to me. Horror movies, are probably my biggest worry. No matter what I tell myself, they're just so darn creepy! I also don't like players. I had a friend who was cheated on by a player and now, she can't even bring up his name. I also don't like it when people wake me up earlier than 12 in the afternoon.
Everyone has a social status in there school right? Well even though I hate it, ours has a huge problem with separate groups being created for people. I've often wondered were I belong. Usually you know right away depending on who your friends are but I have friends who hang out with everyone! Not that I'm complaining, that just means there's a lot of names for me to remember. But I do take pride in my school work and aim to get A's. That makes me part nerd. I also play volleyball, softball, and running, so I have a bit of jock in my Highschool heritage. The list could go on but there is one thing I'm not. Popular. And I'm ok with that.
Some of my talents include piano, cross-country, and reading. Ok, two of those aren't skills but I have taken piano lessons for 8 years and counting. Oh yea, and I almost forgot; I'm also a photographer.
I also have non-talents, or as I like to call it: 'stuff that I'm so bad at it's talent.' This list includes cooking, art, and anything that involves technology. I still need my brothers help at occasionally turning on the Wii.
Now that the introductions are done, let's review some events that took place this summer, shall we? Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite places to go, of all time is our beach house in Newport. It is right near the beach, but you can also walk down to the shops on Thames street and get almost anywhere on foot. Or in my case ripstick. (A/N- a ripstick is like a skateboard with only two wheels, which you swivel your hips and feet to move). I'm actually very talented on a ripstick and can go faster than anyone else I know. In my opinion, it is an amazing source of transportation. So anyway, in Newport, it is like a brake from life. I've been learning how to surf and skimboard, everyday I walk down to get a snow one from the famous shop down the street, and the house is a cute type of cozy. I also have a neighbor in Newport who lives there all year round. Her names Thalia. She's the person who got me interested in Ripsticks and taught me in the first place.
