CHAPTER 24

"Hey Jeno, what's up!? Finally gonna tell me what was up yesterday?" Jaemin said after he opened his apartment door for Jeno.

Jeno nodded and walked in, taking his shoes off. He walked over to Jaemin's bed and flopped on top of it, and Jaemin did the same.

"There has been this was this creepy dude who wouldn't stop following me. It's been a few days. I called you yesterday, because he wouldn't have attacked or anything while i was on the call with you. He follow me all the way to my house, and thankfully nothing weird happened the rest of the day."

"Woah for real? You should call the police! That's not normal.."

"We'll see. I don't like calling the police, but.. I will if i have to if this keeps up for another day or two."

"Can you describe him?"

"I cant see his face all that well because he had a hoodie on, but it seemed like he was very slim and a bit shorter than us. His hair was black, and that's about it."

"Hm. Really strange. Have any idea how old he looks?"

"Definitely around our age."

"Yikes.. Was he holding anything?"

"I don't think so."

"You should really call the police."

"Ugh i dunno." Jeno sat up.

Jaemin waited a bit to say something. "Well, since you're here, what do you wanna do?"

"Cuddle."

"Hell yeah."

Later that night

Jeno was bed, and it was already 1AM. He's been trying to sleep for an hour, but he just couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched all the time now.
His eyes were closed and he tried to shake all his thoughts in his head that were preventing him from falling asleep.
Finally, after 15 more minutes, he managed to fall alseep. But not for long. He heard a thumping sound coming from his window, which of course woke him up. His window was on the left side of him, maybe 5-7 feet away from him. He had a two story house, and his bedroom was on the second floor.
Jeno sat up and turned on the lamp next to him and then looked at the time. It was 1:56AM. What could be disturbing him at this hour?
He then began to hear footsteps that were barely audible.

Maybe it's just a cat.. Jeno assumed. There were a few stray cats that lived around the area.
He was SOOO fucking scared, but manned up and walked towards the window. His window had black curtains covering it. He nervously peeked through the curtain and saw a shadow that had been casted again this window, and he immediately recognized the shape. It was a ladder.
Jeno quickly but quietly grabbed his cell phone and walked as far away as he could from his bedroom window. He hid in a closet and called the police.

After a few rings, the other side picked up.

"119 what's your emergency?"

Jeno began by whispering his address (It's a very good tip to say your address first when calling the police/ambulance/firefighters/etc), "**** ************ *******. I don't know who's here, but someone put a ladder up against my window, and i'm afraid it's a robber or something."

"Okay, are you hiding somewhere? Press 1 for yes and press 2 for no."

Jeno pressed the number 1.

"Okay, we'll be there as quickly as we can."

Jeno hung up and waited. He was sweating so hard and his heart was about to explode. He was shivering in fear. He then heard a loud bash, which sounded like glass.

Shit, that's my window. Please please come quickly..

Jeno was almost having a panick attack, but forced him to breathe in and out heavily but as quietly as he could.

"Where are you!? I know you're in here, Jeno."

Jeno could've sorn he had heard that voice before. Also probably explains why they know his name.
Jeno clenched his fists, which where soaked in sweat.
There's no way the police can make it in time. It's only been a couple minutes.
He could hear the person opening and closing things, trying to find him.
Jeno knew it was the end of him.
A few more minutes have passed, and it was awfully quiet. Jeno was still remaining as calm as he could, and breathing as quietly as he could.

The police should be here any moment..

But just as thought that, the closet door opened, revealing the same man who had been following him, but he had a mask on, so he still couldn't see his identity
Jeno's face was filled in horror.

"Oh! Ahahah! I found you!!"

"N-No!"

Jeno screamed as he blacked out.
