CHAPTER 28

A couple days later after he got his paperwork, which he filled out, he came back to the hospital after he got off of work. When he walked in the hospital, everyone, and when I say everyone, I mean everyone, was talking about him. Thankfully, they didn't really know who he was, people just knew someone was sacrificing their life to save Jeno's.
He went up to the front desk in the lobby to turn in his paperwork.

"Wait.. You're the one who's saving Jeno?" The woman at the front desk said.

"Um.. Yeah. Don't mention my name to anyone please. I cant let him find out yet.."

"Oh my. Are you sure about this??? You're such a young boy."

"Yes, I'm sure. Can I go see Lee Jeno by the way?"

The woman shook her head in disbelief, "Yes, of course you can. Floor 3, room 82."

"Thank you." Jaemin said before leaving.

He got on an elevator and waited until he was on floor 3. He walked out and he started making his way to the room Jeno was located in. When he reached there, he knocked on the door before going in.

"Oh, hi Jaemin." Jeno looked at Jaemin and sat up on his bed.

Jaemin closed the door behind him, "Hi Jeno! How are you feeling?"

"I'm doing fine."

"I heard some great news. I'm sure they've already told you!" Jaemin pulled over a chair next to Jeno's bed and sat down.

"Yes. I'm surprised they had already found someone who could donate their organs. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to live anymore. Especially without you."

Those words hit Jaemin. His facial expression changed immediately, but he forced himself to keep a smile on his face.

"Y-Yes of course!"

Change the subject, change the subject, change the subject. Jaemin told himself over and over.

"You know, I'm really glad to have you as a best friend. I'm glad that somebody has donated, so you can live. You mean so much to me and it just makes me so happy to see that you're going to be fine." Jaemin started crying, much more than he thought he would.

"Jaemin, don't cry. There's no reason to cry." Jeno held out his hand, in hopes Jaemin would give him his.

Jaemin lifted his arm and held Jeno's hand.
If only you knew. But I can't tell you. You would force me to stop.

"Y-Yeah I guess so."

"Thank you Jaemin, for being here with me. You'll be with me forever, right?"

"Of course, Jeno, I will always be with you through everything. Every moment of your life, I'll be here with you. No matter where you are and what you're doing. Always."

Because you'll be keeping my heart until the day you die. I will always live inside you.

"No matter where I am and what I'm doing?" Jeno chuckled, "That's interesting."

Jaemin forced a laugh, "Y-yep! Wherever, whenever."

Jaemin wiped his tears with his free hand and took a deep breath.

"So, what have you been doing?" Jeno asked.

"Nothing much really. Just been waking up, eating, going to work, sleeping, and visiting you."

Jeno nodded, "Once I get out of here, wanna do something fun? It sucks being here."

"Umm, sure! Where?"

"I dunno.. Oh! You should meet my parents!"

"That would be wonderful." Jaemin smiled.

"I'm sure they'll love you."

"Oh of course, who doesn't love the Na Jaemin? The most handsome bitch ever."

"Ooh, but have you seen MY visuals? Godly."

"Really? Cuz right now you look like a skeleton." Jaemin laughed.

"Wow, you didn't have to say that. I know i look horrible."

"You're always very handsome Jeno. You blind my eyes every time I see you. But of course, nobody can beat me. Teehee."

"Of course, whatever you want to say. How long are you going to stay here?"

"Whenever they kick me out."

"But what about work?"

"That won't matter."

"What do you mean..?"

"Oh ahaha.." Jaemin tried to play it off, "My boss is really nice. He'll let me stay here, because he knows that I care about you a lot."

"Oh okay. I'm glad to have you here allll day long."

"And I'll be with you forever."
