CHAPTER 8

Jaemin woke up in freezing cold water.
A hit of realization smacked Jaemin in the face.
He's somehow alive?
But he was trapped. The water was up to his chest, and he was trapped. Jaemin was afraid the water levels may rise.
He couldn't tell where he was, but he was surrounded by wood, bricks, and basically everything, and there was no way out of it.
Jaemin felt weak and tired, and he was standing in the cold water.
He was afraid there was no way out, because if Jaemin tried, things might collapse on him and injure him.
He doesn't know if he was knocked out for a few hours or even days.
It was extremely quite, except for some birds chirping. He assumed it was morning because of them.
He could also see some light and the sky, but not much.

Hours have passed. It felt like weeks. Jaemin was starving and felt thirsty, but he couldn't do anything about it.
He was getting weaker every second, and his head hurt. Jaemin was afraid he might pass out and end out drowning or something.
Jaemin was scared out of his mind, but he managed to keep himself calm after long minutes of panic.
He was worried for his parents and friends. He has no idea if they're alive or not.
He doubts they are, since it's so quite and he can't hear anything except for birds.
The water has risen quite a bit. It's still around his chest area, but he could tell it rose.
Jaemin tried to think of ways to get out of this situation, but so many bad scenarios could happen.
He decided to wait for help. But he didn't know when help would come.

A few more hours have passed.
Jaemin was in so much pain, but he couldn't let himself pass out. He didn't want to drown.
The water level was almost at his neck now and he was terrified. He gave up on being calm.
Oh how he wished for a big meal and a gallon of water right now.

Jaemin's vision was getting blurry and his head pounded like crazy. He was so tired, he wish he could sleep for days. He was bored out of his mind.
The water level has risen right under his collarbone.
He now assumed that he was out for days, somehow. He somehow didn't drown, but he was standing this whole time?
Jaemin looked down and found out he was being supported by a drawer and a mattress.
He felt so stupid. How the fuck did he not notice-

The lights went out.
Wait.. what lights?
Jaemin didn't know.
It was just dark, and all his worries seemed to fade away, as his conscious faded away with it.
