a poem I'll never write

In the recesses of head
Is a poem that'll never see the light
I could ramble for pages
Trying to comprehend it's beauty
But still, end up failing miserably
It's a beautiful, heart warming
The words flow like water
And emotions, crystal clear
It takes you on a ride
To a distant land, far from reality
Where the infants don't wake up
To bombshells and bullets
Where no human sleeps hungry
A land so pure, it feels like fantasy
A place where our apprehensions die
And on a lazy evening, in a garden
Where a old couple sit together
A kid runs with his dog
And while two men walk hand in hand
All we see is love
It's a long walk ahead
Waiting for that day to exist
But for now, here's an ode
To the words that remain unspoken
Waiting for that one magical moment
Where dreams turn into reality
And the words, find their shelter
Here's an ode, to a poem,
That I'll never write
