Underneath the shiny moon
As I sit next to you
I can't help but, be amused
By how every single choice we made
Altered the course of our destiny
And out of all the infinite possibilities
We ended up on this rooftop
Ending it where it all began
I would be lying if I said that
It was something I hadn't imagined
Surprising how life rolls right?
Because no matter what you do
You could go only so far from fate
I could brood about it, like I always do
But why ruin a perfect moment!
As I look at you, the memories roll
And flashbacks get the better of me
I know we had our promises
To never leave till our dying breath
But I won't complain, not today
So while we share our last cigarette
I'll let the silence do the talking
Look at the skies above
And thank for how nice it was
While it lasted.

Let The Words Flow
PoetryA collection of my poems and some really random rants. When it comes to expressing myself, I usually run out of words and here's my best shot. I hope you like it.
