You're my sunshine in the rain when it's pouring

~ Daniel Caesar ft. H.E.R

Caralei Romano

How could I be so lucky with my life right now? I may have lost the most important people in my life but I have gained the happiness I have wanted for so long I never thought I would ever have? Was that the cost of my happiness now? Why does everything have a price? I felt the tears trickling down my cheeks as I waved to the crowd, my name being chanted loudly and the flash of their cameras firing rapidly.

"Lufian! Lufian! Lufian! We love you!" The fans cheered and I blew them all a kiss, thanking them by bowing. The audience went wild again and I couldn't stop the tears. Oh God! Why did it have to be now? Ever since my dad died, whenever I perform in front of my fans, I keep on wishing he was here with me watching my shows. I was so selfish for hiding myself. I perform in front of a lot of fans now but I wish I could have used my voice to sing for my father. But I didn't. Instead, I kept it holed up inside me until Gabriel could finally make me do it again.

"Awww. Don't cry, Lufian. We love you. Love you!!!!" Fans on the right waved their hands for me to notice them.

"Danke. Danke." I thanked them in the language my mother taught me, the words so foreign to me as it was years ago that I have spoken the language.

"Sorry. I keep on crying tonight. I just miss the people I loved dearly and you guys reminded me them. You guys have been great tonight. Thank you for coming tonight. Ich liebe dich!"

"OH MY GOD!" The fans screamed their lungs out and I smiled, seeing how happy they were with me tonight.

"Okay. Okay. This is the last song for tonight entitled FLWR. Again, I want to thank you all for the support. I won't be here on stage without you." The guitar started to play and next were the beat of the drum. There I was, on the biggest stage in Berlin, performing in front of a huge crowd. I couldn't believe people would listen to my songs but they did. People really listen when you speak the truth. The rest of the night was pure bliss. The crowd sang with me, I had fun with them and I saw the lives I have inspired. It meant so much to me.

"Great show, Luf! Great job, guys! Let's move! Let's move! Luf, let's go. The tour bus is waiting." My bodyguard, Sean, spoke with great enthusiasm as he came by side. He quickly gave me a towel to wipe the sweat off my body, especially my face. Sean has been a healthy cautious person ever since he was with me. He would quickly give me towels when I sweat, a bottle of water when I finish a performance, and everything I ever needed without asking him.

"Where's Montessoro?"

"In the jet waiting for you." He replied before grunting as he was pushed harshly by a paparazzi. I noticed the growing number of crowds as we walked to the bus in the parking lot. More lights flashed and more people began screaming my name until I was in the blinding shower of camera flashes and thunderous chants from fans and media.

"You okay?" I asked my bodyguard but he didn't answer me as he continued pushing us through the crowd. More of our bodyguards and the team began protecting me, their hands held forward to avoid anyone touching me. I was still afraid and would flinch when I would be touched, grabbed or be pulled by anyone and the team knew that.

"Thanks, guys." I was worried for their welfare as I saw them grunt and talk to people about not coming near me now. Thump! A gasp left my lips as my breath was taken away by the force I just got. Someone threw something at me and it was making me dizzy.
